I was given the opportunity by High Sierra to review their Fat Boy backpack. This pack comes in a variety of colors, fourteen to be exact. The vast collection of colors and patterns include everything from blossom to shamrock making it quite easy for the consumer to purchase a pack that suits their personality! I was sent the pack in black in white plaid, it wasn’t my first choice but I really like it, and I feel that this color and pattern is great for both gals and guys.

I’m 5’2 and with a pretty petite build so I was wondering if this pack would be just to big for me, but it’s not! It’s exactly the right size without being to big or too small for all of my needs.

Currently I am a stay at home mom as well as a work at home free lance designer and sometimes I may need to do research or work from  outside of my home.  I found the Fat Boy caters to what I need in every which of the way.

What I like about the Fat Boy…

• The Large multi-compartment design
• The media pocket which hold my iPod as well as my cellphone and digital camera ( note that the media pocket has a port where you can thread through your headphones so you can listen to your iPod or other mp3 player while keeping it safely snug in the pocket!)
• The front panel pocket which is easy to get into in a hurry
• The multi-pocket oranizer with Key Fob.
• The padded back panel is really nice!
• The S-shaped contoured Vapel Mesh airflow shoulder straps! These are ever so comfortable!
• The front strap has a place to keep your cell phone!
• The adjustable side-compression straps are great for keeping every tightly together.
• The ribbed grab handles as well as the monster hook for attaching extra gear in the front are super too!

What I don’t like…

There is honestly nothing I don’t like! This pack will definitely keep me  organized, comfortable, and confident in knowing that High Sierra’s goal is to cater to providing the most efficient and durable bags for all of my needs! I know I’ll be using this back for many years to come!

As I am growing older, I’m paying attention even more to my posture. I recall when I was growing up my mom always told me to sit up straight and not to slouch. As a kid I didn’t pay too much attention to her advice but really, what kid does when it comes to lounging around? I now (as hard as it may seem sometimes) am trying my best to sit up straight and not to slouch as it’s no good for my posture and does my aging body no good in the least bit.

I discovered a product a few weeks ago called the WondaWedge. This fantastic product is an inflatable wedge then encourages proper posture and amazing back support whether you be at home, the beach, or out camping! The possibilities of indoor and outdoor use of this wedge are really endless!

The  Wonda Wedge basically is inflatable pillow with permanently attached mat. The mat attached to the pillow gives you a clean place to sit on various surfaces such as grass, sand to name a few. The mat also helps to keep the wedge in one place.

I was sent a Wonda Wedge, green in color to review.  I like to read in bed but never seemed to get comfortable! I was always pushing and pulling pillows behind my head and back trying to find a position that suited me, but despite my hard efforts I was never completely satisfied. This was until I tried out the Wonda Wedge!

It was very easy to inflate. It took no time to blow up, maybe 3-5 minutes tops without using a pump. An added bonus is that the wedge has several different variations of positions to use to your liking.  You can even add more or less air to suit your own personal comfort level.

I’ve been nothing but pleased with my Wonda Wedge’s performance. It’s been great to use for me when reading in bed, lounging in the living room, and nursing my daughter! I can’t wait to take it with us to the beach this summer!

I was thrilled when given the opportunity to review a couple of their great products.  I was sent the Tea-zer™ Tea Brewing Tumbler and the Cascade Stainless Steel Water Bottle-Go Refillable .

The Cascade Stainless Steel Water Bottle-Go Refillable is a great product. I love the long sleek shape of this bottle, which makes it easy to hold onto to. The slender shape also make this bottle ideal for cup holders on bikes and in your vehicle.  The BPA-Free top easily screws on and off. The hook on the top makes it easy to attach it to any number of my bags, straps, and stroller.  I found that this 22 oz bottle is quite light weight even when filled with my beverage!

I’ve washed this bottle in the dishwasher, skeptical at first. I thought maybe this bottle would take on a weird taste or smell afterward but it didn’t! I think I should mention that the lid on the bottle should be washed by hands since they recommended it. I can just imagine the top melting like many other things I’ve put in the dishwasher. Oops.

I personally love my new water bottle and can’t find a single flaw. It’s reusable and recyclable! I’m looking forward to the new 12 oz. bottles that will be arriving this summer in a wide variety of colors!

The next product I’m reviewing is the  Tea-zer™ Tea Brewing Tumbler! I’m a pretty big tea drinker! Here in the Northwest where it’s prone to be a bit cooler, you’ll likely find me with a nice warm cup of tea.

Ever since I came across Earth Lust bottles, I immediately wanted one. This was based solely on looks alone as they have a wonderful selection of designs.  I was so happy when I was told I could review one of these for myself, I in fact was  nearly jumping for joy! I picked the 1 L Tree and if you were wondering, the L stand for liter.  I find the L great as a reminder to how much water I am consuming as I’m trying to make sure I get those 8 cups of water a day which estimates about 2 liters.

These bottles are made from a high quality 100% stainless steel, which is naturally safe unlined.

The great designs on these bottles are custom designed and no worries as no toxic paints are used. If you wondered about BPA, they covered that as the Earth Lust bottle caps are BPA free.

Available in the three sizes, 1L as mentioned before, 20 ounces, and 13 ounces.  Into sports, hiking, or jogging? Well, you’ll be glad to know that the 13 and 20 ounces sizes have an optional sports top available! As you can see from the picture, there’s a nifty clip on the lid of which you can remove if you like. I can’t see why you would want to remove it though as it never gets in the way! I love mine because it’s easy to attach my bottle to my diaper bag and stroller when I am out with my little one.
I put this bottle through the test, I held it upside down and  drank several different kind of beverages in it. Number one this bottle does not leak! I’ve had other bottles start leaking on things and that was rather annoying! Number 2 this bottle does not take on other flavors and there is no taste of metal! It is recommended to use baking soda or diluted white vinegar wash to preserve the clean, neutral taste over time (brush as needed). So, I wouldn’t put it in the dishwasher.
