Community Coffee- Red Ceramic Travel Latte Mug {review}

Community Coffee Company has sold the finest fresh-roasted premium coffee in Louisiana since Henry Norman “Cap” Saurage began selling coffee out of his country store in 1919. Today, Community® coffee can be found in grocery and convenience stores, offices, hotels and some of the best restaurants throughout the South. It is also served daily at CC’s Community Coffee House® locations in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans, and is available worldwide through CommunityCoffee.com. Community Coffee Company is the largest family owned and operated retail coffee brand in America.

Fall is finally here in Oregon. I see it in the colors that fill the trees. I hear it as the leaves that litter the ground crunch under my feet. It’s well loved smells fill me from the fresh baking apple pies to the sweet pumpkin flavored coffee drinks brewing in local coffee shops.

I tend to drink coffee all year long but during the Autumn and Winter seasons I’m known not to be seen without my trustee cup or travel mug at my side.

The Community Coffee Company recently gave me the opportunity to add a great ceramic travel mug to my collection! This is my new favorite travel mug for sure! It’s red in color with white polka dots, too cute and all me! This mug features a removable plastic lid that twists open for a sip. It holds up to 16 oz and is dishwasher safe. It can be used to reheat in a microwave for a maximum of one minute.

It’s no surprise that I am a fan of Community Coffee. If you check out my pantry you’ll find not one or two but about four of five bags of their regular and flavored coffees on hand.  I’ve yet to try out their selection of  tea bu I’m sure it’s tasty too. I would definitely recommend checking them out if you love coffee or if you are looking for a great gift set for the coffee lovers in your own life!

The Red Travel Latté Mug and Coffee Sampler I reviewed came in a box perfect for gifting and also comes with 12 oz. bag of  Private Reserve® House Blend coffee. This set retails for $15.95 and is quite affordable especially if you are looking not to spend too much on a gift this Holiday season.

Fair Haven Health {review and giveaway}

I’m doing things a little different this go around with my second pregnancy. I am proud to say that now I am more aware about what I am eating and with what sorts of things I use for skin care. Things of which can make a huge difference that I wasn’t aware of a couple of years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I feel so much better having adjusted my diet and personal care skin products.

A friend of mine, who is also pregnant with her second child, let me know about a company called Fair Haven Health. This companies mission is to help couples struggling with conception, by offering safe natural products of all kinds for  fertility purposes, pregnancy wellness, and even those for nursing mothers.

After personally contacting Fair Haven Health, I was given the opportunity to review two products that are essential in my mind to every pregnancy.

Yes, I have personally stopped to think twice about what I apply to my skin! Did you know that most deodorants on the market contain harmful chemicals that are linked to breast cancer? I mean does Aluminum Clorohydrate, propylene glycol, and parabens sound like something you want applied to your skin?

It brings my mind to ease that during my pregnancy and even long after there are products on the market from companies like My Fair Haven that offer safe alternatives in the deodorant department to care for my skin and those unwanted odors.

The Natural Pregnancy deodorant from Fair Haven Health has been working  fantastically for me and offers only the safest ingredients preventing any harmful ingredients to affect myself or my unborn child.

I am not sure how long this deodorant will last but knowing that it’s made with  natural herbs that are known to safely fight odor, I consider it a real steal for only 6.95.  The smell is light and bearable and it easily rolls on effectively leaving hours of odor protection. I highly recommend it!

I wish I had know about Fair Haven Health’s Tea-for-Two so much sooner in my pregnancy, as I am sure it would have massively helped me to feel better!

This tea is an all-natural, baby-safe herbal tea designed to support a healthy pregnancy, tone the uterus, and relieve morning sickness discomfort!  It also taste pretty darn good too!

Before baby number 2, I was drinking caffeinated coffee everyday to get my so called buzz. So I find it kind of funny now that I can’t personally stand coffee at all. I want the best for my baby so I’ve also pretty much cut all caffeine out of my diet and have been drinking some great herbal teas like this one!

Once I have my baby, I plan on once again breastfeeding and because I love this tea so much and plan on continue drinking it through the remainder of my pregnancy, I’m sure I’ll be a fan of their nursing time tea!

Overall, I’m a fan of the Fair Haven products I was able to review and encourage pregnant and nursing moms and those trying to get pregnant to definitely check out all the products offered on their site at: http://www.fairhavenhealth.com/

Holiday Gift Guide: Two Leaves and a Bud Tea Co Review

thumb_category_thumb_category_thumb_category_basketbig435
chamomile_detail_9-chamomileI drink tea all year round. I enjoy all kind whether it be black, green,white, red, or herbal.You’ll commonly find in my cupboard box upon box of tea bags as well as jars of loose leafed tea . I wasn’t a huge fan of tea in my younger years but when I learned of the added health benefits and found several flavors I liked, I’ve been drinking nearly a cup a day since!

Two Leaves and a Bud is wonderful tea company that I so happened to come across a few weeks ago. A little bit of history is needed, I believe in knowing how this company came to be!  Two leaves and a bud tea company was founded because the creators couldn’t find a great cuppa’ organic tea. Founder Richard Rosenfeld traveled extensively in Asia and India, but found himself frustrated by the lack of good tea in North America. He starte d two leaves and a bud tea company to bring  high quality,whole leaf organic tea to tea fans all over the world

I was given the opportunity to try out this tea and I must say that it is the most flavorful fresh tasting tea I have ever drank! A few of the things I really like compared to other teas I have drank is that two leaves and a bud tea company lists the caffeine preference on each of the individually wrapped packages for the tea bags.  I’m one to monitor my caffeine intake being quite addicted to it at one time. I like the fact that I’m told as with other teas I am always second guessing. Another fantastic feature that this company has chosen to include is a flavor profile on each box of their tea.  On each profile you’ll find a brief description of the tea such leaf style, steep time, origin, and best for section among many other things.

A box of tea from  two leaves and a bud tea company retails for 7.99 for a box of 15 bags. The price may seem steep for some but trust me when I say that the quality is quite superb.

The holidays are among us  and what better gift than one that makes you all warm inside! I am sure at least everyone knows a tea lover in their family or group of friends. I would encourage you to check out this great company as they offer many wonderful teas and teaware gifts.
