Advil Congestion Relief

The weather here lately has been a little crazy! It’s gone from cold to warm and back again leaving my husband and I with some pretty intense headaches. Speaking of which, I had one yesterday that left me feeling pretty helpless.

Recently I was given the opportunity to participate in a tour to promote Advil Congestion Relief. A product that battles congestion relief, sinus pressure or nasal inflammation.

I personally haven’t tried this product out because I am nursing my son and am very careful about any medication that I do tend to take for what ails me. I’m going to be contacting my Doctor and find out if this medication is acceptable soon, though. On the other hand, I have read some  reviews by customers whom swear by this medication!

KT Tunstall – Tiger Suit {music review}

KT Tunstall third and latest album “Tiger Suit” hit the stores this last Tuesday and is already causing quite a stir of excitement from her fans.

If you like myself aren’t quite familiar with KT Tunstall, you might recognize her vocal talents from her previous Grammy Nominated hits like “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree”, “Suddenly I See”, “Other Side of the World” and “Hold On”.

I’ve been listening to Tiger Suit for a few days now and I think I would say that if you like earthy folk type music  with a pop than this CD would totally be for you. I can guarantee it’ll make you want to move!

One of the more heard of and popular songs on this cd include:  “Fade Like A Shadow” which is the first single and has already a Top 20 hit on the radio. I personally am a fan of the song (Still A) Weirdo. There are eleven tracks total on Tiger Suit and playtime is around 45 minutes.

If you are interested in this album, you can listen to an exclusive preview right now by following this link!

Buy it: You can purchase Tiger Suit on Amazon for $9.99!!

Get connected: Feel free to Fan/Like KT on Facebook and on Twitter.

Live Shows: KT will be heading out on tour this Fall (10/31-12/1). You can click HERE to view her full schedule.

DISCLAIMER: Thanks to One2One Network for sending me a free CD to listen to and review and the information to share with my readers. My post is also eligible for a gift card via random drawing by One2One Network.

One2One: Richard Scary’s Busytown Mysteries Show and Interactive Website Review!

Busytown_Logo
Busytown3Richard Scary’s wonderful stories have been a part of my life for as long as I can recall. It’s was no surprise to me when  I learned that Richard Scarry’s books have sold over 150 million copies and have been translated into 30 languages over the last 40 years! I remember my mom reading me several  stories of Huckle the Cat, Lowly the worm, Mr. Fixit, and stories featuring many from the  other fun characters all that can be found in the imaginatively enchanting world of Busy Town. I’d like to point out that not only myself but my younger siblings also had the chance of not only enjoying the books but also the Busy Town TV show that used to air on Nick Jr. many years ago.

Thanks to the One2One Network, I just learned about a new show based off Richard Scary’s stories called “Busytown Mysteries”! Thanks to Cookie Jar Entertainment Busytown Mysteries can now be seen locally on CBS each Saturday morning! You have no idea how thrilled I am about being able to share these true classic stories with my own children and without having to pay gobs of money to view them on some network channel  is an added plus! You can check and see when this show comes on by visiting the following link http://bit.ly/busytownsched.

I was sent a DVD episode of Busytown Mysteries to review thank to One2One Network in order to spread the word! Each episode is about 24 minutes and features two  unrelated stories  that focus on introducing children to deductive reasoning skills. Who? What? When? Where? Why?

I know most children will fall in love with the many different characters and be quite engaged with the well thought out story lines! With titles like “The Falling Fruit Mystery” and the “The Dragon Hunters” children are bound to be in for some great adventurous! But the adventure doesn’t have to stop there, your children can enjoy the fun interactive website of BusytownMysteries.com any day of the week!

My daughter and I were having a lot of fun browsing through the interactive world of Busy Town just this morning! My daughter is adding so many new words to her vocabulary so we really enjoyed talking with many of the Busy Town friends. Other fun things you can find  there include 14 games and activities designed for preschoolers, including interactive games, a Fan Club and “My First Email,” which lets little ones email their progress to pre-approved friends and family addresses.

I highly recommend introducing the children in your life to the new Busy Town Mysteries show as well an encouraging them visit the website where they will find so many enjoyable things to do, it’s always a plus when we can find great family friendly stories and character that can make learning so much more fun!

Disclaimer: I was sent an episode of Busy Town Mysteries from the One 2 One Network, in exchange for my honest opinion.
