The Coming Economic Armageddon By David Jeremiah {book review}
About the Book…
The Coming Economic Armageddon: What Bible Prophecy Warns About the New Global Economy By Dr. David Jeremiah / FaithWords Today’s news is filled with jarring headlines, distressing analyses, and dire predictions concerning the world’s financial future. Did Bible prophecy predict this catastrophe? Is the monetary collapse a sign of the end times? Jeremiah reveals the meaning behind what we read and hear—and shows you how to understand and live in the new global economy. 272 pages, hardcover from Faithwords.
Never before have we read such jarring headlines, distressing news analysis, or dire predictions concerning the world’s financial future. The American housing market — or, more sentimentally, the American dream — began to collapse in 2006, taking with it large chunks of the global financial system. Millions of jobs worldwide have vanished forever. Did Bible prophecy predict this catastrophe? Are there biblical clues to how soon, if ever, a viable, long-term recovery can be sustained? Is the financial collapse just one of several signs that we are living in the final days of Earth’s history In THE COMING ECONOMIC ARMAGEDDON, David Jeremiah says we can know the meaning behind what we see in the daily news — and understand and prepare for living in the New Global Economy.
My Thoughts…
I’ve always been a fan of David Jeremiah. I recall growing up listening to his daily radio show called “Turning Point”. I appreciated and valuable insights he shared. I really was encouraged that he wrote this book about the turn of current events and about sharing his thoughts on biblical prophecy.
The Coming Economic Armageddon By David Jeremiah is a book that personally can stand well alone but I did find that it’s the third in this series and that it may be better if you go back and read the first two.
You’ll find that this book covers four areas: the coming New World Order, the President of the Order (AntiChrist), the coming collapse of currency and present financial system, and finally Biblical hopes to navigate through it. It truly is a powerful resource and will really make you think! I do recommend going through this book when you can mainly stay focused and without alot of distraction. It will make you think and it’s a great conversation starter!

Holiday Gift Guide: How to Roast a Lamb – New Greek Classic Cooking by Michael Psilakis Cookbook Review
About How to Roast a Lamb…
A rising star in the food world, Michael Psilakis is co-owner of a growing empire of modern Mediterranean restaurants, and one of the most exciting young chefs in America today. In How to Roast a Lamb, the self-taught chef offers recipes from his restaurants and his home in this, his much-anticipated first cookbook.
About the Author…
A long time front-of-house man with no professional cooking experience, Michael Psilakis took control of the kitchen when, as owner of his Long Island restaurant, Ecco, his chef simply failed to show up for work one night. Since then, his star as a chef and entrepreneur has risen considerably. He now owns three restaurants in Manhattan–Anthos, a showcase for his modern take on fine Greek dining; Kefi, a cozier spot that serves the more classic home cooking he grew up on; and, Mia Dona, a new Italian restaurant with a Greek bent. Psilakis lives in New York.
