Crystal Light Pure {review}

I like to drink flavored water but alot of the time the ones available ones on the market are full of unneeded additives such as artificial sweeteners, flavors, and preservatives. So, I’ve been going without in means to maintain a more healthy lifestyle.
Recently I was invited into a blogging campaign to promote Crystal Light Pure. How exciting that this drink promised so much. I didn’t want to get to overjoyed about turning my boring water into something a little more flavorful right off the bat. I eagerly awaited receiving samples and was not disappointed in the least.
Crystal Light Pure contains no artificial sweeteners, flavors or preservatives. It is sweetened with sugar and TruviaTM, an all-natural, no-calorie sweetener derived from the stevia plant, and it is colored and flavored with natural ingredients.
Crystal Light Pure comes in a variety of different flavors including grape, strawberry kiwi, mixed berry, lemonade, and tropical blend. Grape and Strawberry Kiwi contain electrolytes to help aid hydration during light physical activity when you consume one packet (two servings).
I had a chance to try the grape flavor and it was good, not overly sweet and quite light but it had enough flavor to make it enjoyable. Take note that I pretty much hate grape flavored things so the fact that I like this is a miracle in itself. How great that a serving contains just 15 calories which is way less than other leading fitness drinks that contain anywhere from 10-50 calories.
Right now, I like to drink my Crystal Light Pure in the morning to get me going. I love the convience of the little packets that each serving is held in. They are such a great size that I can throw a few in my purse and be about my day knowing if I need to be re hydrated or need a pick me, I can simply add it to my water bottle which nearly never leaves my side.
I’m highly recommending this drink and am looking forward to trying the other flavors soon!

Tot Yoga | Yoga for You and Your Toddler {review}
Tot Yoga is the first video to focus on yoga for children between 10 months and 3 years old. The video encourages safe and nurturing physical activity to improve the parent-toddler relationship by increasing exercise and reducing stress. TOT YOGA is the innovation of Khadi Madama, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and an IAYT, Yoga Therapist who is a pioneer in the field of applied therapeutic yoga.
I believe this is a fantastic DVD program to encourage bonding between you and your child in sharing and teaching the importance of exercise in your day to day life! This program will increase strength and flexibility, reduce stress and calm restlessness, and improve fine motor skills in your child!
The video features three distinct sections.

2. Parents Teach Yoga - parents learn how to engage a child between the ages of 10 months and 3 years in focused and relaxing playtime exercise
3. Parent Yoga – parents follow a simple routine of strengthening and stretching poses intended to reduce stress and increase strength and flexibility

Bondi Bands {review and giveaway- 3 winners!}

Bondi Band is a fantastic company that sells all sorts of headbands for running and biking, swim caps, ponytail and pigtail hats, wraps, and other wicking items. They have products lines for men and women, babies, toddlers and even your pet dog.
I’m currently in my first trimester of pregnancy so I decided to not do any high tolerance workouts but instead my usual yoga to test these out. Though I am pregnant and sweat a lot no thanks to all those fantastically unwanted hot flashes, my Bondi Bands have been coming in handy more than usual with their awesome athletic material that wicks away sweat! Hey, maybe I’ll wear one to keep my hair in place during the birth of my second child.
I must say I love Bondi Bands. I’ve used other headbands, wraps you name it before and they always tended to never stay on my head and with these, they’ve all stayed in place awesomely and even for my two year old daughter who is extremely active! We love the comfort, sometimes I even forget I am wearing mine!
The variety of styles, colors, and patterns Bondi Bands come in varies to fit every lifestyle and personality I believe these Bands would make a fantastic gift being reasonably priced at just 8.00 each. I know my daughter could use a few more since her bangs are always in her face no matter how often I clip them back.
Giving Back: Bondi Band donates 10% of proceeds go to Dana Farber Cancer Institute and they also sends bands there every year for the patients, which is awesome!
