Review & Giveaway: 4 in 1 Ceramic Keepsake Diaper from Baby Chix

Nothing is more exciting than finding that one of a kind gift to give to an expecting mommy whom is eagerly anticipating their brand new little bundle of joy. I remember my baby showers well. I got lots of things that were cute, some things were used and others weren’t. I appreciated the generosity of those who celebrated with me in welcoming both my daughter and later my son but with the gifts I was given, lots of things were eventually passed on or donated. I wished I have more keepsake items to save to share with my children as they grow older and to pass along to them when their firstborns arrive.

Speaking of great baby shower gifts, have I got the cutest keepsake item from Baby Chix.com to share my thoughts. This item I believe any mother would happily cherish and pass along to their children and then to their children’s children.

I’m happily raving on 4 in 1 ceramic keepsake diaper from babychix.com I received to review. First I must say I was extremely impressed on the presentation of the keepsake diaper! It came all wrapped up just ready to gift with ribbons and bows, the works! The customization on the ceramic diaper really takes the cake as you can pick what word you’d like monogrammed on the diaper whether a first name, last name or initial in whatever color you’d like. You can also pick the color of the safety pin on the front of the diaper to match!I’ve been using the keepsake diaper to store my baby boys baby changing needs. It’s large enough to fit three disposable diapers, baby bottom cream, powder, a slender wipes case, lotion, and a cloth or two! Long after my baby is out of diapers I know I’ll be getting use out of this adorable ceramic diaper. I could use it as a planter, use it as a candy dish, or possibly store it away for my future grandkids.

As a surprise, I was also sent one of their mini diapers! This ceramic is just as adorable as the larger sized one. I’m currently using it in the bathroom to store my make up brushes but thinking I may have to move it to my craft room room as a reminder of my kids. I can’t help but think it’s the perfect size to store my knitting and sewing notions! I think either of the two would have made a great baby shower decoration and gift!

I’m highly recommend Baby Chix for their awesomely unique and fully customizable baby gifts and decorations from onesies, blankets, and more!  A portion of all the sales made by this company go to help foster and adopted children through the One Change at a Time foundation too. I’m happy to brag on this companies uniqueness and originality. Don’t you want to as well?

Diaper Buds {review}

My mom and I were discussing just this week about Thanksgiving plans and if I would be willing to fly from Oregon to Georgia to spend a week there. Unfortunately, I’m not making any plans on flying or traveling too far from home  in my third trimester of pregnancy. An unnerving feeling wells up inside of me, especially with my due date only being about a month into the future from Thanksgiving Day.

The recent conversation sparked the memory of traveling with my daughter by air when she was eight months old. And with that thought, I suddenly started contemplating what things I could have done differently to make the 8-10 hour flight much easier like lightning the load of our carry on baggage.

My good friend recently let me know about a product called DiaperBuds! What they are exactly is individually wrapped, vacuum-packed disposable diapers. They take up very little space in your diaper bag, suitcase, and you could even pocket a few depending on what size you’d need for your child.  These would have been much better than hauling a suitcase and diaper bag around full of space consuming diapers.

I personally got to try some of these diapers out for myself and they are pretty neat! Basically once you open the diapers from their packaging, they “bloom” into a regular size diaper, hence the name Diaper Buds.  These are awesome for any type of trip where you want to lighten your load a bit and are offered in sizes 2, 3, 4, and 5. A large bag of Diaper Buds is going to cost you 18.99 for 24 but note these aren’t meant to be used for everyday, just those special occasion trips when you would really need all the extra space you can get!

DiaperBuds is running a trial promotion right now: Pay $1, get two DiaperBuds to try with free shipping! Totally worth checking out!

Thank you to DiaperBuds for providing a product sample for review purposes.
