My Thoughts…

As a gamer and mommy of two little ones, I was thrilled to  learn that my go to favorite company for swaddling blankets is now featuring Angry Birds. I fell in love with this games several months ago and have been playing ever since. My 3 year old daughter gets in on the Angry Bird action, and my one year old baby boy is constantly saying “do do doo do” to the beginning theme song (It’s really cute!)!  You can bet I jumped on the opportunity when it presented itself to review a couple of these products from Swaddle Designs.

I was sent an Angry Birds short sleeved onesie in the 6-12 month size and a multi-bird Marquisette Swaddling blanket to review. My son is about 15 months old but he meets the weight and height for the largest size available for the Angry Bird Onesies and I was pleased to see that it fit him perfectly. It’s defiently made from high quality material and has held up great with wash after wash. It’s currently our favorite onesie and he’s been wearing it everywhere!

The  Multi-bird Marquisette Swaddling blanket is much larger than your average swaddling blanket and it’s one of the reasons I love it so much! And since my little guy is getting so big, I won’t be using this as a swaddling blanket but as a stroller blanket and nursing cover on the go this Spring and Summer season!

I would totally recommend any of the swaddle blankets from Swaddle Designs as they all have an illustrated tag sewn on to show you just how it’s done! I personally adore Seventh Generation diapers, in fact they are all I will use on my children when they aren’t wearing cloth. I was given the opportunity to try the new Free and Clear diapers with improved softer tabs and better fit and was very happy with the results. My son is 14 months and he’s a very energetic and active little boy (running, climbing, and always on the go), these diapers are totally designed to prevent any leakage and I am pleased that we’ve had no negative issues at all. In fact, these diapers are all I will use other than cloth because they are great for the environment and for my son who has very sensitive skin.

I’m excited to let you know that just recently MommyParties and Oral-B gave me the opportunity to share some fantastic products with my own family, extended family, and other moms that I know with younger children through a Winnie the Pooh DVD viewing party for the kids.

I was thrilled to be picked as a host. I am all about spreading the news about products that can benefit needs in our day to day life. The products that I was sent that every mom was able to take home and keep for their kids in my pre-made gift party bags included Oral-B stage 1&2 brushes, Oral-B Toothpaste ( themed for both girls and boys), Disney Lavender body wash, an information pamphlet all about Oral-B Stages products, and very much appreciated coupons!

My own daughter which is three years old was pretty excited and couldn’t wait to brush her teeth with her new tooth paste! I heard the same from the other mothers as well following up after our celebration! It really helps that Oral-B teamed up with Disney to feature well loved characters kids have grown to love.

My son is 11 months old and we’ve been getting him into the routine of brushing his teeth. He’s got six teeth currently with two more on the way! I honestly can’t believe he got so many teeth so quickly! No worries though, Oral-B makes choosing the right dental hygiene products for me and other mothers so easy with their Stages products.

Oral-B currently has three stages. The first is for 4-24 month old babies. These brushes have non-slip handles, help protect tender gums, fits babies’ small mouths, and makes brushing fun with Disney Baby characters. I’m pleased to say my son is getting pretty good holding and brushing the toothbrush all on his own pretty well! The second stage of products are for 2-4 year olds and the third for 5-7 year old children. Each stage is a little different than the previous completely covering everything needed as children grow older.

A lot of information was given out in my party bags but I also wanted to point out that there’s a really handy guide about dental care on the Oral-B website for anyone else interested in the Oral-B products if you already aren’t a fan!

Overall I got a fantastic response from both the kids and their parents about the great products by Oral-B. And with all the great benefits, it’s no wonder that Oral-B is #1 dentist recommended toothbrush brand for kids.
