Recently I was able to review a A Pink Pashmina Wrap from Pashmina Ladies. I love this wrap! It’s hot pink (fuschia) with a light pink jacquard pattern pashmina shawl which is made with 70% top-quality pashmina wool and 30% luxurious silk. This wonderful crafted wrap, in beautiful hot pink with light pink, is 27″ x 68″ in size with 3″ hot pink tassels on both ends. I love wearing it whether I’m looking to dress casual or more formal!

I love the selection of colors that Pasmina Ladies offers and thinking about possibly getting a blue one! I’m falling in love with the Cosmos blue with navy jacquard pattern pashmina shawl!

I have a serious addiction to collecting leg and arm warmers for my kids. They are more than just a fashion statement, they are a must have essential in the wardrobe! Recently I was introduced to Mama Runs with Scissors on Etsy! She has a  huge selection of patterns and styles perfect for both boys and girls in leg & arm department of what she calls “Kool Kid Legs”!

I was pretty happy when I was given the opportunity to review a pair of Kool Kids Legs for both my son and daughter! The hard part was deciding which ones to review as there were so many cute designs from silly monkeys to dinosaurs! We finally chose the Yar Matey Red & White for my two month old and the Chic Chic-A-Dee Birds Kool Kid Legs for my daughter.

The Kool Kid Legs I received were packaged just perfect for gifting ! It’s always nice when sellers go the extra mile to present their work to you with such a personal touch.

About the Kool Kid Legs I received, I’m very impressed with the quality and the fit! I tried them on both my children right away and took lots of photos which are totally going in the scrapbook!

I’ve washed both pairs of Kool Kid Legs a few times and they still look brand new. There was no shrinking or over stretching at all compared to others brands I’ve purchased before.

1.Why did you decide to start doing this on Etsy and how long have you been?

I started this wonderful Esty adventure in January 2008. I was a stay at home mama to two boys then 5 and 2.  As much as i enjoyed staying home with my boys i also really felt that I needed a project that was just for me.  Out of those feeling developed Mama Runs With Scissors and although it has been super challenging at times it has also been a great learning process and creative outlet.

2. What do you enjoy the most when creating your products?

I really enjoy the process of cutting and sewing the pieces together.  I spend the time day dreaming and thinking about the little ones who will be wearing my creations.

3. Apart from creating things, what do you do?

I love to run, take family bike rides and camp at the ocean.

4. What inspires you?

Kindness

5.In five years you’d like to be…?

I’d love to be sewing some place besides my basement that does not have windows.  Maybe a little studio with lots of natural light!

Overall thoughts….

We are fans of Mama Runs with Scissors and we will definitely be purchasing from this shop in the future for our leg and arm warming needs. She has some pretty cute combos for skirts, tops, and onesies that are irresistible! We really can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Despite what a lot of people think, we do get sunshine here in Oregon!  In fact, July has been the driest month on record in awhile.
