Joey Junior Purse Organizer Review and Giveaway (closed)

joeylogo2zebraorganizer 83912
I’m for organization, though if you took a look into my 2 bedroom little apartment, you might say otherwise. I’m s till organized but everything seems cluttered, you know how that can be when you don’t have a lot of room to work with.

One item, I struggle to keep organized is my purse. I’m constantly digging through it, things get moved around, stuff gets misplaced with I transfer things to another purse, and the end results is time lost and frustration. With my purse, I never seem to win. That’s why I have to be appreciative of companies like Joey Junior whom noticed this issue and created several stylish sizes and variations of Purse Organizers for women!

I am reviewing the Joey Junior Original Purse Organizer in the Mountain Zebra Print. Sure, I could have gone with a solid color or luxery ultra suede but I was in the mood for a fun animal print!

I set my new organizer on the table and went to work in making  my purse a new improved place. The fact that this organizer stands up and folds together so easily with it’s velcro so compact is so very helpful!

blbagopenThe Purse Organizer has several roomy pockets for things like your cell phone, business cards, lip balm, compact, pen and paper, and whatever else you may find in a purse. A clip and tether is also added to keep your keys safe and secure, not to mention easy to dig out!

I can now find everything I need in a no time at all, and if I so choose to switch out my purse for a date night, for church, or in the name of fashion, I can do that easily with my Joey Junior Purse Organizer!

I have no dislikes about this product, I just hope they’ll eventually come out with a larger organizer in baby friendly patterns for easy diapers bag organization!

The Joey Junior Purse Organizer is a great purse accessory that I would highly recommend to all. Retailing from $14-$25 depending what size and type you purchase, the Joey Junior Purse Organizer can be found on the Joey Junior website as well as at other online retailers.

Reusies Review

RUS-01Have you been looking for another way to help out our environment? If so, you might want to check out ReUsies! These nifty snack and sandwich bags were created as an alternative to ziplock or other plastic bags that most people throw away on a daily basis.

Creators of ReUsies had this to say:

At the start of the new school year we realized that our families were going through an average of 10 plastic bags per day between school and work lunches.

We do our best to reuse and recycle in other areas of our lives, but there didn’t seem to be a solution to the plastic sandwich bags we were using.

We developed ReUsies™ for their waste-free quality, but many customers primary reason for purchasing our product was to eliminate plastic from being in direct contact with their family’s food. Whatever your reason, know you have made a good choice!

We are Seattle moms with a passion to do right by our children, and hope that the footprint we leave behind for future generations will be much smaller. We take pride in our product and we hope you enjoy them too!

My thoughts:

I was sent one of each sandwich bag (7.5 x 6) and snack bag (6 x 5) to review and I like them!

Pros:
The variety of patterns offered are great for all members of the family!

These bags were very easy to clean. Just hand, machine, or dishwash. I just had to remember not to throw them in the dryer!

Cons:
The only flaw for me is that they won’t hold liquid stuff. Another is that when I toss these in my diaper bag, sometime my daughter’s cereal escapes out of the bags! I can’t imagine things like pretzels, fruit slices, or other foods getting lose in a lunch box or cooler though.

Results:
I would say if you properly are packing lunches, and have something to carry your ReUsies in that isn’t going to cause a lot of pushing and shoving around making your bag end up upside down or sideways, these are for you! I will be using them again and purchasing more in the future!

Buy it:

In the long run, purchasing the bags will be saving you money!

To purchase ReUsies , head to their website. You can purchase the sandwich size for $8.75 and the snack size for $6.75. And right now if you buy 3 or more you can save 10% off your total by entering the discount code 3ORMORE

A percentage of ReUsies profits go to educational and environmental programs!

Baby MEDBASICS Review and Giveaway

logo

travel_red_dAs a parent I believe it’s very important to know how to not just attempt to prevent accidents from happening to our children but I believe we should also be prepared for what happens if those accidents should come to pass.

I am recommending to all those in the care of children the Medbasics kits for those situations in life that sometimes do happen. The creator behind this life saving product is Tara Summers Hermann, whom had to act quickly to clear the airway of her 16 months son who began to choke one day at lunch. Luckily, Tara is a registered nurse and her husband, Luke, is an emergency room physician. She knew what to do but not all of us do. She pondered would the babysitter, or whomever else was caring for her child, thus MEDBASICS was born.

As a parent my first instinct is going to be is to phone 9-1-1 in a medical situation, but what happens if my phone isn’t getting reception  and if  help becomes caught up in traffic? Honestly as parents have to take these factors into consideration.

There are two different Medbasics instructional first aid booklets, the home edition and the travel. I am reviewing the travel edition today.

The Medbasics Travel Pack is a durable board book with spiral-bound pages and color tabs that allow you to quickly access information on CPR, choking, fevers, bleeding, burns and poison emergencies involving babies. The easy to follow instructions and detailed illustrations are those that any person could follow with no problems at all during an emergency situation. I like that in the front of this book, there’s an area where you can fill out your child’s important medical information as well as emergency contacts if something were to happen.

The convenience of the Medbasics Travel Pack is great! It’s perfect for storing in the car, stroller, or diaper bag  and it’s also weather resistant so no worries on it getting ruined. I know I won’t be leaving home without mine! I feel at ease that knowing with the help of Medbasics kits, myself or whomever is caring for my child can be helped in preventing dire accidents in becoming worse.

You can order Baby MEDBASICS at www.babymedbasics.com or by calling 917-353-1932.

Win it: How would you like the chance to win your very own Medbasics Travel Pack?

To enter: Leave me a comment here telling me about medical situation scare that you’ve encountered with your child and what did you do?
(
For instance my daughter had a rising temperature just last week (103.2) and I stayed calm collective, kept my daughter hydrated, gave her Tylenol, and watched her behavioral changes like a hawk….thank goodness her fever broke and no further medical assistance was needed but it was pretty scary! I thank years of watching my mom to know what to do.  Another times is when my daughter scratched her Cornea!)
