Jumpy Baby Walker {Review}
My son just turned eight months old and he’s quite determined to get a move on! He’s always wanting to stand up and put his feet forward in a walking motion while bobbing up and down when holding on to our hands. This action is quite encouraged but it can often put quite a undesirable strain on the back of whomever way be helping him along. But now strain be no more with a wonderful product I wish I had when my oldest was a baby called the Juppy Baby Walker.
The Juppy Baby Walker was created to be a training aid in helping your baby boy or girl ( 7 – 13 months/30lbs) along in learning how to walk It’s also doctor recommended and helps reduce the amount of falls and accidents! And the biggest pro in my opinion is it’s great design to keep it’s wielder’s back pain-free!
I was sent a Juppy Baby Walker in blue that is fully lined for my son and we’ve set it to use right away! It doesn’t surprise me my son like my daughter is probably going to be walking well before his first birthday and this product in my opinion is fantastic in helping him get there. I feel that his confidence in taking steps has increased tremendously thanks to Juppy.
The Juppy comes with it’s own pouch making it easy to throw in your car, diaper bag, medium to large sized purse, or luggage for travel. To use, you simply zip the zipper down, place the baby in, and zip it back up. You’ll then take the two adjustable straps and walk with your baby. So simple but yet so effective! The Juppy is very well made and it’s also machine washable.
We often go to the park and my son as happy as he’s been in his stroller or front pack, he still wants to get down and explore with his big sister. And since there’s no way I’m going to let him crawl on his hands and knees on the ground, I reach for the Juppy instead! He is so happy to be walking about along with us. Pretty soon we won’t need it all and I’ll be able to pass it along to someone else that I know!
Buy it: You can get your own Juppy Baby Walker online here for either $29.95 or $19.95. Pricing depends on the color you choose whether black, pink, or blue, if you want it lined or not& if you want your babies name embroidered on your Juppy. This is a fantastic product that I’ve been nothing but happy about.

Holiday Gift Guide: Mrs. Smith’s Diaper Bag Review and Giveaway
Who knew all the stuff you needed to have on hand when traveling with a baby, infant, or toddler! I recall being out many times and noticing that I forgot to put the wipes back into my daughter’s diaper bag. That was never a good thing! I also have had to deal with digging through a not very organized bag… meanwhile my daughter is wailing for me to see to her needs. This issue was extremely stressful while away from home on a 10 hour flight across the US. Trust me, I got a few nasty stares from inconsiderate people.
What’s a mom to do? Well, I have to thank Rachael Smith, a mother 2 whom has had plenty of her own diaper bag experiences. She couldn’t find a solution, so she came up with her own very line of diaper bags called Mrs. Smith Diaper bags. An awesome line of fashionable and functional bags if I do say so myself!

To me what makes Mrs. Smith Diaper bags so different from the rest is the organization! I no longer lose precious time digging around for my own or my babies things.
The top compartment in the bag is made and best for storing extra outfits for those un-expected accidents. I found I easily could hold about two outfits for my 18 month old, so it can hold many more if you have a younger baby.
There’s a spot in the top compartment with three insulated pockets that are perfect for keeping bottles or sippy cups hot or cold, whichever you desire. I love the pockets as they keep the cups or bottles up right preventing any spills on other things in the bag! An idea is you can also hold baby food jars in those pockets too!
The top compartment flap also has an included washable full-size changing pad! Until I become a mom, I never realized how important it was to have a diaper changing pad with me. You think most places provide those disposable covers but I learned most places don’t even accommodate this issue or they are always out! It can be pretty frustrating so I’m glad Mrs. Smith included this.
Other compartment in the top include a a small little zipper pouch in which I store my daughter’s teething tablets and a larger pocket with velcro in which I store my daughter’s diapers and wipe case. Some of the other things you’ll find in the top compartment of my diaper bag include a few board books, my daughter teething toy, a second set of shoes, and a few other random necessities! But wait’s there’s more to talk about!
I’ve never seen a bag with a drawer, especially one for a diaper bag!
Mrs. Smith diaper bag bottom drawer area is ideal for storing snacks of all kind ( you can store a banana with no worry of it getting smooshed!), toys, pacifiers, or anything else you want to get to quickly. I’ve been using the drawer in my bag to store my daughters plate, fork, spoon, snacks, and meals when we go out. I love it!
The side pockets are fantastic for storing, an 8 x 10 binder or notebook, 2 small pouch on the outside for a cell phone/and or wallet, a mesh pouch and a pouch with a string. I found storing my Flip and being able to get to it quickly was a breeze with the side pockets! The fact I can store my daughter coloring supplies in the pocket big enough for an 8×10 binder was pretty nice too!
I love going to the park with my daughter but if you know my daughter, she’s always on the go! This is why I appreciate that Mrs. Smith diaper bag can also be converted into a backpack super easily! This feature leaves me hands free which is so crucial sometimes for parents dealing with babies and toddlers!
Mrs. Smith diapers bags are awesome! I would not choose another and I sure wish I had this bag earlier on! I highly recommend these diapers bags to all new moms!

Holiday Gift Guide: High Sierra Review

Whether heading to school ( kids, teens, and adults induced), to work, traveling afar, or if you are just looking to go on a hiking/camping adventure somewhere, High Sierra is definitely a one stop shop for exceptionally durable bags of all kinds. With over 30 years of experience, this family owned company is committed to producing innovative bags and luggage that appeals to the active lifestyle and outdoor consumer.
I was given the opportunity by High Sierra to review their Fat Boy backpack. This pack comes in a variety of colors, fourteen to be exact. The vast collection of colors and patterns include everything from blossom to shamrock making it quite easy for the consumer to purchase a pack that suits their personality! I was sent the pack in black in white plaid, it wasn’t my first choice but I really like it, and I feel that this color and pattern is great for both gals and guys.
I’m 5’2 and with a pretty petite build so I was wondering if this pack would be just to big for me, but it’s not! It’s exactly the right size without being to big or too small for all of my needs.
Currently I am a stay at home mom as well as a work at home free lance designer and sometimes I may need to do research or work from outside of my home. I found the Fat Boy caters to what I need in every which of the way.
What I like about the Fat Boy…
- The Large multi-compartment design
- The media pocket which hold my iPod as well as my cellphone and digital camera ( note that the media pocket has a port where you can thread through your headphones so you can listen to your iPod or other mp3 player while keeping it safely snug in the pocket!)
- The front panel pocket which is easy to get into in a hurry
- The multi-pocket oranizer with Key Fob.
- The padded back panel is really nice!
- The S-shaped contoured Vapel Mesh airflow shoulder straps! These are ever so comfortable!
- The front strap has a place to keep your cell phone!
- The adjustable side-compression straps are great for keeping every tightly together.
- The ribbed grab handles as well as the monster hook for attaching extra gear in the front are super too!
What I don’t like…
There is honestly nothing I don’t like! This pack will definitely keep me organized, comfortable, and confident in knowing that High Sierra’s goal is to cater to providing the most efficient and durable bags for all of my needs! I know I’ll be using this back for many years to come!
Buy it:
I am sure one of High Sierra’s bags would be a welcomed gift this holiday season! Right now on Amazon, you can find the Fat Boy for just $29.99… this is steal considering it’s usually around $60.00 full price!
