Tummy Talk Pregnancy Journal {review & giveaway}

Pregnancy is beautiful, everything single one is so different in its own special way. As soon as you are pregnant you may not think about writing everything down but afterward you will wish you had, I know I did with my first born child.

Perhaps you are pregnant or know someone who is right now. If you are or do, you might want to check out the Tummy Talk Pregnancy keepsake journal.

Tummy Talk is a all-in-one album, scrapbook and keepsake journal that can be completely customized by adding your mementos, journaling your thoughts and inserting your own personal photos.

These books are hard cover yet very soft with a velor type feel, available in four different colors, archival  acid free and lignin free, uses heavy-weight paper,  and is adorned with a Swarovski crystal. Inside the book you’ll find that the journal is divided into 5 different sections with colorful tabs identifying each one. The five sections include pregnancy stories, doctor’s visits, weekly journaling, baby shower, birth details, and more.  There’s so many things to make this book extremely personal! They didn’t leave anything out!

My favorite sections in this album include the sections where you can put letters for the baby as well as the scrapbook cut outs that family and friends can write something down for the baby. So cute and ever so thoughtful!

I’m still filling mine out with information about my latest pregnancy. Lots of photos to add!   I only wish I had this journal sooner! I encourage anyone who wants to persevere the  life long memories of their pregnancies to look back on and share to get a Tummy Talk Pregnancy Journal Album. These are wonderful gifts for expecting friends or family members! As well as the album, Tummy Talk also offers a fine selection of pregnancy announcements and thank you cards.

My Thoughts

I was very excited to be able to share my thoughts on BabyCenter.com! I had used this site as a resource during my first pregnancy and with such great results, I am continuing to use it through my second pregnancy and of course well beyond as Baby Centers give  you the low down on your child up to age nine years old!

I was so excited to learn about the two brand new books offered by Baby Center! These books are wonderful resources for new, expecting, and well seasoned mothers! I’ve been reading them and learning so much from them. They’ve totally been a blessing to have!  If you at all are interested in the two books I mentioned, they can be purchased here.

I’d never been to a birthing class though I would have liked to attend one. The timing wasn’t right with our first child and being newly weds and new parents we couldn’t afford them at the time. I’m really excited about the Baby Center’s Online Childbirth Classes. I’ve been working my way through them in my spare time and in the convenience of my own home.  I’ve been learning so much and am feeling more confident in knowing so many things that could play out into the labor of my second child.  These classes are very affordable, well put together, and I would highly recommend them!

You can check out BabyCenter on Facebook and Twitter today! Visit BabyCenter on Facebook and on Twitter @babycenter to “Like” or “Follow” the brand and keep up with the latest news.

Win it!

One winner will recieve a BabyCenter prize package that includes the two new BabyCenter parenting books (BabyCenter® Pregnancy and BabyCenter® Baby), a package of Seventh Generation diapers, a gift card from BabyCenter partner, Shutterfly and a BabyCenter bib.

Preggers By Therafirm- Support Hose For Mommy {review}

I didn’t’ really have much of a problem with swelling and leg pain during my first pregnancy but now at 28 weeks with my second child I can’t say the same.  I’m carrying a bit more weight this go around  and with that being said I’m really feeling the aches and pain in my legs. I have plenty to worry myself about with no need of fearing sudden appearing varicose veins due to poor circulation in my legs.

Preggers by Therafirm is the answer for all mothers like myself whom may suffer from leg aches and swelling which are common side effects that could lead to unwanted varicose veins during their pregnancy.

I was able to review two different types of leg compression support hose for this review and have been in heaven since they’ve arrived! The large selection of hose offered on their site is fantastic, appealing to  dress taste of all kinds. I’m a dress and skirt type of gal so I opted to go with knee highs and  maternity pantyhose to get me through the rest of my pregnancy during the cold months here in Oregon.

So how are these hose different from others that you may find on the market? These first aren’t just any sort of hose, they offer gradient compression which delivers a controlled amount of pressure greatest at the ankle and gradually decreases towards the top of the stocking to promote better blood flow.

I’ll be able to wear these great hosiery products during all stages of my pregnancy! They have built-in tummy support panel provides a sense of stability for active mommas and can be worn folded under belly or unfolded to cover belly!

Preggers by Therafirm is a wardrobe essential that should be on every pregnant mom’s list of attire to purchase! Don’t let the price of these products phase you either as these products are of the highest quality and you should have no fear of snagging them. Quality and comfort are key when it comes to treating your body right!
