My Thoughts…

When I first got our cat, I wanted to find ec0-friendly shampoo for her and after much research, I found that Earth Bath was a good choice. After sometime, I was given the opportunity to review Earth Bath’s latest products which include Cat Wipes and the Cat Grooming Foam.  These products are so easy to use and my cat actually prefers these to a full on bath.

The Cat Grooming Wipes come in Green Tea scent and there’s also a product for hyper sensitive cats. I was sent the Green Tea wipes to use on my cat. This product is fantastic to use whether at home or on the road. You can easily wipe away dander, dirt and residual saliva in your finely furred friend’s coat. This product left our cat’s coat shinier & smelling great and she actually welcomed this unlike her baths!

The other product I tried out is the Cat Grooming Foam.  This product you can apply to your animal and then rub them down with a towel as there is no rinsing required! It also really reduces shedding! It’s so easy to keep your cat that much cleaner with Earth Bath!  I found myself using this often  right before people visited so my cat would be clean and smelling great!

Just like I have to worry about and treat various stains my daughter may make, I also have to have the right cleaners on hand for our four legged baby too.  This is where I turn to Simple Green Pet Stain and Odor Remover as it is non-toxic, biodegradable, and it is People, Pet and Surface safe!

I had the chance to try both the cat and dog Stain and Odor Remover from Simple Green and both have very different smells. Note that these products works on urine, feces, scent-markings, dirt, blood, and throw up.

How do they work and differ from each other?  First the stain removal component is exactly the same in both cleaners but where they differ is the scent additive.

The Dog Stain and Odor Remover is much stronger smelling than the cat product due to the process of deterring remarking from a dog as they often like to go back and remark the same areas. The cat Stain and Odor Remover smell is not as strong as the dog smell. Both do great jobs in removing unwanted smell and odors after applying and letting it sit for two to three hours.

There was absolutely no discoloration, stains, or odd smells in the carpet after using these products from Simple Green. I would highly recommend them to those looking for an ec0-friendly safe cleaning product for pets.

Love having a pet cat but don’t want to deal with the mess of cleaning the litter box? Then have I got the Litter Box of your dreams, the Litter Robot!

For the past month or so I’ve been reviewing and using an ECO Unit Litter-Robot which is made from 100% recycled plastic and made right here in the USA. I’ve used another self cleaning litter box and it didn’t come close to pleasing me as much as this one.

Reasons I Like the Litter Robot

The Litter Robot is easy to put together and very easy to clean! It can be run on a schedule or at the push of a button, which is a huge plus!

The cat “business” can be disposed of in ordinary trash bags and the Litter Robot can use clumping litter. There are no special supplies needed as with other self cleaning boxes so no added expenses.
The biggest win for me is that I didn’t have to see, sift, or touch our cats mess!

My cat had no problem whatsoever using this box, she went right in and did her business. I will say that the lip extender reduces a lot of litter from getting on the floor and is a total must.

My only issue is that’s it’s much bigger that your typical litter box so make sure you have lots of space or a room just for your cats that this unit can be placed.

Protecting your pet is protecting a member of the family and one of the most reliable ways to ensure the safe return of any pet is a pet id tag. I learned after doing some research of my own that shelters have reported that 90 percent of tagged animals are returned to their owners, so I knew I had to start looking for the right tag for our cat.

While browsing the internet for personalized  pet identification tags, I came across Love Your Pets. While on their site, I learned that Love Your Pets was established in 1981 and to this day is a family owned and operated business that promises affordable pet id tags with a lifetime guarantee.

I was given the opportunity  to review several styles and colors of Love Your Pets ID Tags that are currently available on their site. I found the whole ordering process very easy to use! I  first choose from the three available shapes which are a circle, heart, and bone that I wanted. I then choose what material I wanted the tags to be made of, which includes brass, plastic, and stainless. After deciding which type of tag, I was brought to a drop down menu which offers suggestions for the lines of text for the type of tag you are creating such as pet, medical, luggage, and custom to create whatever you so choose. Each tag can have up to six lines of text.

An added feature that I love is that I could preview what my ordered tags would possibly come to look like with text as I typed it out! This feature helped me know the limit of letters for each line and how it would possibly look like once engraved upon the tag! Once my order was placed in the system, I received my tags in just days! They weren’t kidding when they promised fast delivery!

Love Your Pets ID Tags are extremely durable! I was very impressed with quality of each of the tags I ordered. The tags are thick and durable and the the letters are perfectly stamped with no flaw at all. Note that with each tag you order, the jump ring you’ll need to attach it is also included.

Usually when you pay less for a product there’s a good chance it won’t last or stand up over time but that is not the case with Love Your Pets ID Tags at all! These tags will definitely stand up to time and for the price of $3.95 you won’t find a better id tag for your pet or for any other custom need you may have elsewhere!
