Eternal Tales Etsy Shop {review & giveaway}

If you are looking for a one of kind gift to symbolize some of the most special people and times in your life, look no further that etsy boutique Eternal Tales! I enjoyed browsing the reversible custom photo jewelry, personalized monogram/photo wood blocks, and more!
I was able to review a unique mobile made to feature your child’s initial for my daughter Melody! This one of a kind mobile can be customized to fit into the theme of your child’s room and I just think that’s fantastic! I love how it seems to float seamlessly in the air and the clear crystals added finish it off beautifully!
I enjoyed getting to know Kimberly through my Etsy artist meet and greet questions and I hope you do too!
1.Why did you decide to start doing this on Etsy and how long have you been?
My sister was actually the one who introduced me to Etsy, she has run a shop on their site for quite some time now. So this past August, when I stepped down from my full time job at a hospital to stay at home with my newborn son, I decided to open a shop of my own on Etsy and see where it took me.
2. What do you enjoy the most when creating your products?
I love being inspired by new ideas, and ultimately seeing those ideas come to life in created things. It is very calming and refreshing to pour myself into working on an item, and of course very satisfying once it is done and looking like I wanted it too.
3. Apart from creating things, what do you do?
I am a stay at home mom to my precious 11 month old son, Jordan, who of course takes up much of my time these days! When I’m not crafting or looking after him, I try to stay very active with church, family, and yoga.
4. What inspires you?
I am inspired most by others — there is nothing more satisfying to me than taking my idea for someone else and creating something that truly makes them happy. That look of joy is really what fuels me to keep coming up with new things.
5.In five years you’d like to be…?
Sitting on my porch with my husband watching all my children play. To be happy, healthy, and free from life’s drama — that’s all I really need.

Etsy: Elizabeth Horton Design {review}
nos·tal·gia – a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one’s life, to one’s home or homeland, or to one’s family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time.
While browsing through Etsy, I came come across such awe inspiring and memory invoking Nostalgic Graphic Tees at Elizabeth Horton Design. Many of the designs featured include those such as blowing bubbles, fishing in a pond, picking a flower, playing on a see saw, riding a bicycle and more, all which are memories I hold dear and near to my own heart. It brings me great satisfaction to know that I can share these wonderful designs with my own daughter.
These tees as well as many other apparel items available such as rompers, long sleeved shirts, and infant sleeping gowns are beautifully presented in a number of designs and available in many rich colors for children ages toddler through size twelve. I was sent a beautiful Girls Short Sleeved Ballerina Graphic Tee to review for my daughter Melody!
This shirt is by far one of my daughter’s favorites and mine too! I can’t get over how cute the wavy edges on the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt are! Melody loves to dance and twirl just like the girl printed upon the shirt and often talks to me about it throughout the day. This shirt is a 100% cotton Rabbit Skins tee and can hold up to hours and hours of play not to mention repeat washings.
I enjoyed getting to know Elizabeth and wanted to give my readers a chance to learn more about her too! Enjoy the Etsy meet a great questions and answers below!
1.Why did you decide to start doing this on Etsy and how long have you been? I like the flexibility that Etsy provides. Being able to work on creative projects, manage my own shop, and raise my children at the same time is ideal, and would only be possible through an online sales vehicle. I have been selling on Etsy for about 8 months.
2. What do you enjoy the most when creating your products?
I love being able to use my graphic design background to create something that will be worn and loved by someone else. Its fun to see children get excited about wearing my tees. I also enjoy having the opportunity to give back by donating proceeds from my fisherman design to a cancer charity.
3. Apart from creating things, what do you do?
I own a commercial graphic design firm, which is home based, and spend most of my time caring for my 2 young daughters. I also enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors.
4. What inspires you?
My children.
5.In five years you’d like to be…?
Still able to earn a living doing creative things!
Shop Now: The Elizabeth Horton short sleeved tees available for $13.00 a piece and long sleeved ones are $15.00, which is a real steal for the quality you are receiving! I love the fact she offers a fine selection for both boys and girls! I can’t wait to see what else Elizabeth Horton comes up with!
Special Promo: Use the code “C2C” when ordering throughout the month of May for free shipping on your order. (does not apply to custom orders)
Etsy-Name That Thing Review and Giveaway

The other day, I happened across the cutest treat bags on Etsy. I wanted a special treat bag for my daughter’s second Halloween but wasn’t’ willing to spend over twenty dollars on a personalized one. Luckily I didn’t have to search for long! I found exactly what I was looking for at an Etsy shop called “Name That Thing“.
Name That Thing is owned and operated by Chrissy, a mom of 2 boys and a girl. At her store you’ll find all sorts of affordable totes, aprons, flags, baby gifts, and more. Most items if not all can be customized with any saying or name that you would like.
I interviewed Chrissy for my Etsy meet and greet and here is what she had to say!
Why did you decide to start doing this on Etsy and how long have you been? This site has only been up for 2 months but I have been on Etsy a year now with 4crazyladies. I started selling on etsy because I am a stay at home mom and love to sew.
After I started sewing dresses on my other site, I wanted to put initials on them so I got an embroidery machine. That started my love to personalize, so I opened namethatthing so I can put names on everything.
After having 2 boys, I got my girl and that changed everything. It made my creative side come out full throttle.
I love to shop so I tied the two together. I find great deals on things everyone loves and I just mark it up enough to pay for the personalization. That is how I can sell these things so cheap.
In five years you’d like to be…? Continuing to make my customers happy. It makes me happy and it gives me the ability to stay home with my kids and raise them with their mother always by their side.
I don’t know about you but I will definitely be checking out Name That Thing again for gifts for my friends and family. I know I’ll be able to find items at great prices that can be personalized to add that extra special touch!
(note: I’ll be adding photos of the bag I custom ordered just as soon as it arrives!)
How Would You Like to Win a Treat Bag of your own? Chrissy has generously offered one my readers the chance to win their choice of any $8.00 value Halloween trick or treat bag from her store!
To Enter: Visit Name That Thing and let me know first which bag you would choose if you won and who it would be for and second tell me another item that you like from her store!
