Hello Kitty™ AM/FM Stereo Alarm Clock Radio w Top Loading CD Player {review}

My daughter is getting older and I believe it’s important to start teaching her to be aware of clocks and time keeping. I know she’s only three years old right now and it would be expecting to much to believe she could read a regular clock. But lately I’ve been telling her and showing her what time her favorite cartoons come on and she’s been understanding the concept of before and after a lot better.

Just recently, my daughter received her very own Hello Kitty™ AM/FM Stereo Alarm Clock Radio  w Top Loading CD Player from www.sparklebee.com and boy does she love it! I’m loving it a lot too because it’s helping me as a work at home mother teach my daughter the concept of waiting.  Teaching waiting to a preschooler can be a challenge at times. You can ask any parent and they’ll tell you usually patience can be very hard for younger children to grasp but I can vouch giving your child a time piece whether watch or clock helps tremendously.

Speaking of time and learning, back to school is right around the corner here in Oregon. And instead of attending a public preschool, I plan on teaching my daughter at home. She’ll be jumping straight into preschool starting in September which is only a couple of weeks away. I’m working on a schedule which will include book work, snack time, P.E, and arts and crafts.The Hello Kitty™ AM/FM Stereo Alarm Clock Radio  w Top Loading CD Player  is fantastic and there’s not one thing about it that I don’t like. It’s pink in color making it perfect for a little girls room but for my son not so much! It has where you can set two clock alarms which is great as I’m going to set one up for when my daughter should be up and allowed to leave her room in the morning and the other for when school is done for the day.

It’s got great sound quality and I like that my daughter can listen to all her favorite music cd’s as well those I’ve burned on the computer meaning it’s CD-R/RW Compatible! You can skip, search forward and back as well as repeat and random play as well. Other features include your AM/FM Radio, LED Display with Dimmer, Sleep or snooze Function and available Battery Back-up!I would highly recommend this product especially if the princess in your life loves all things Sanrio and Hello Kitty. For what it is, I think it’s a great deal for  $69.99 at Sanrio.com and I’m sure it will be listed on Amazon.com pretty soon too for all those Amazon loves like myself.

Pink Digital Photo Keychain {review}

Just the other day my husband and I were discussing digital photo products such as the those nifty frames that you can either hang on your wall or display nicely on a table. We were discussing the pros and cons  and also how they make the perfect gift on such occasions like Mother’s Day which is coming up this weekend in fact!

If you don’t have the means to purchase one of those fancy digital photo frames there are other options such as keychains! I was given the opportunity to review a Digital Photo keychain from Whole Sale Keychains and I must say that I am quite impressed with the quality.

I recieved a pink digital photo keychain with an added engraving to make the gift a little more personal to me to review. I choose to have two of my favorite Bible verses added which are Proverbs 31 and Psalms 127:3. The engraving in my opinion looks very professional and of high quality.

The keychain isn’t that big as it’s only 1.5 inch featuring a 128×128 LCD display. It’s just the right size to add to your keyring, purse, backpack, or wherever you find it most convenient to place it. Mine is going to be residing on my keyring where I can easily pull it out to share with others and to look through my photos when I so feel the urge.

The keychain comes with a USB cord and an instruction manual which basically runs you through how everything works. This product is pretty no brainer! Once you plug your keychain in to the usb cord into your computer to charge you are also brought to photo view software in which you can easily add photos as well as zoom, resize, and adjust being able to save them in numerous graphic formats to fit your needs. I was please to see that this product can hold well over 150 photos with it’s 4.8 mb of internal memory!

The quality of your photos on the key chain look pretty decent for the price. I tried to take a picture to show you but to no avail. It’s really hard to take a good quality photo of a screen! I’ve found that the battery life of this keychain goes by pretty quick if you leave it on the slide show view but if you just use the option where you can rotate through photo yourself the key chain is know to last a whole month before you have to charge it again with the included USB cord. You don’t always have to display your photos either, you can also leave your key chain on the clock or calendar mode.

I’m very happy with this product! It’s real steal in my opinion for just 9.99  and with the added engraving for only 5.99 more! They come in multiple colors and styles! Father’s Day is coming up soon and how surprised Dad would be if you loaded pictures of the kids on one beforehand and surprised him with it! Oh, and it’s not to late to get one for mom either!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com created by WebBizIdeas a Minneapolis SEO and Web Design firm. Philips Norelco Qg3270/41 Multigroom Pro in Silver {Review}

**Guest review written by: Justin N. Lowmaster**

Previous to the Norelco, I had a plug-in ConAir clippers. They cut my hair fine, but the cord was a bit of a bother. I’d normally have to use an extension cord to be able to use it where I would make the least amount of mess. The case it all came in wasn’t all that huge, but it contained a myriad of attachments and finding the right one was a bother. Cleaning the inside of the clippers was a real chore and took  far longer than it should. You had to remove the blades to do it. Enter the Norelco.

First thing I noticed was the size. It’s much more compact than my previous clippers. It plugs in to charge, so when I used it, I didn’t have to worry about the cable limiting me or getting in my way.

There are also only a total of 6 attachments, and all are small. There are two sized (width) of clippers, and one adjustable sizing attachment for each. No more digging around for that #2. The clippers and guides work together in harmony, with a pair of designators on the clippers that align with the guides so it’s very easy to see what setting it is on.

The clippers are also super easy to clean. You just take them off and can blow them out and use the included brush to remove the hair waste material. The brush has two different sides that reach and clean all the various bits you might want to clean.

There’s also a nose hair clipper attachment, and a mini shaver. I suggest keeping the latter on when you store the Norelco and attachments in the handy bag. If somehow the clipper gets turned on, it’s least likely to cause any damage. You should keep at least one attachment on to keep the Norelco clean and to keep the moving part grease on the moving parts from getting all over stuff.

The Norelco is a dream. There’s less bits to mess around with, and the bits there are all work fantastically. I cut my hair and beard in no time with none of the fuss of my previous clippers. I adore it.

If you are thinking about purchasing, The Philips Norelco Qg3270/41 Multigroom Pro, Silver can be bought for $39.99  & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping on Amazon.com.
