I am very pleased to share about Scholastics Storybook Treasures latest offering “Mo Willem’s Pigeon and Pals: Complete Cartoon Collection!”.  This set includes two DVD volumes featuring the unforgettable fun loving works of children’s author Mo Willems.

Each collection included in this set are a little over an hour. The artwork and animation is eye catching and sure to keep the interest of children. There are tales of a bunny that is mistaken by another that looks just like it, a naked mole rat that wants to wear clothes, the pigeon that finds a hotdog, and many more tales sure to be loved by both boys and girls.

Mo Willem’s stories are cleverly written and supports teaching children about cooperation, problem solving. As a parent of two young children under the age of 4, I’m quite the fan of the read a long feature that plays along the screen as the story is being told. It’s wonderful to see my preschooler recognizing letters and putting it all together boosting her early reader skills!

Overall, we quite enjoy the works of Mo Willem’s and are very pleased in seeing some of our favorite stories come to life in such a way! We highly recommend this collection!

I love the educational aspect of The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That, teaching science in a fun friendly child format! All the episodes are packed with great facts and fun songs. My children love the songs and I have even been caught singing some of the songs featured in the shows myself!

This is a fun collection that will teach your children how earthworms help the flowers to grow, how babies birds take flight, and so much more!
