My kids are totally crazy about Yo Gabba Gabba so when we heard their thoughts on children’s indie music band “The Pop Ups”, we knew we’d more than like but completely love them! So what did they say? Well, they said “The Pop Ups are Awesome!!!” and we couldn’t agree more!

The Pop Ups second recently released album “Radio Jungle” has been playing over and over in our home. The songs have a catchy beat and are filled with rich whimsical lyrics that makes an adult remember the best of their childhoods and the younger generation to enjoy what’s going on with them right now.

Radio Jungle has 11 tracks which covers everything from drawing with a box of crayon to connecting the stars. I’m a huge fan of the entire CD and both my one year son and nearly four your old daughter equally enjoy the cd in their own way. Toes will be tapping, heads will be bobbing, children spinning in circles and swaying back and forth has been brought out by Radio Jungle in our home.

I highly recommend Radio Jungle by The Pop Ups. It’s a CD both parents and children can enjoy together and would be great to take along during Summer trips and outings too.

You can find out more about The Pop Ups, Radio Jungle, by checking out their website.
My baby boy has sensitive skin so I’m always on the look out for ways and products to use that will ease any discomfort that he may have. I wash his clothes with special detergent. I use wipes specifically for sensitive skin to wipe his face and bottom. All my sons clothes are completely tag free. I apply lotion to his skin at least twice a day. And during bath time, I use products specifically created to gently cleanses and moisturizes itchy, extra dry skin.

My latest brag worthy skin care products for both mom and baby would have to be from the company Plagentra. They have a entire skin and body product line created specifically to relieve common skin care issues such as eczema, stretch marks, and acne.

This company won awards in…

Number one in stretch mark care (2011 Korea Satisfaction Consumer Index)

Number one brand for moms and babies (2010 Korea Satisfaction Consumer Index)

2011 best luxury skincare brand (Korean Governments Department of Ministry of Women and Family)

After seeing that these products contain absolutely no steroids, colorants, alcohol, or perfumes, I was quite excited to use them. I was sent two full sized products to review from this company and several samples of their other products. I picked the Foaming Facial Wash for myself and the Mild Wash to use for my son to share my thoughts on.

The Foaming Facial Wash is an excellent make up remover and my total go to wash at the end and the beginning of the day. This facial wash is easy to use and very gentle on my skin. It goes on smooth and rinses off very easily which is a must for any foaming cleansers. I can vouch to have had some bad experiences with foaming washes! I’m so glad I had a great experience with this one.

The fine micro beads in this cleanser do an excellent job of exfoliating skin without being to rough removing unwanted dead skin, dirt, and oils. The scent of this product fragrance free so it’s great for those sensitive to certain smells. My skin looks and feels great after use without sacrificing a thing! I would highly recommend using the Foaming Facial Wash & after such a great experience with it, I am excited about trying out and using the other Mom offered skin care products such as lotions and soaps!

The Mild Wash I’ve been using on my 10 month old son for a week now and will have to vouch that his skin has been so much better! So much better that I’ve seen no itching or scratching of any kind! I don’t even have to use that much either. I simply use the handy pump top bottle to squeeze about a nickel size amount onto a cloth or my hand to cleanse my son. The wash lathers nicely and rinses just as well. And the scent is very refreshing!

This wash is a great supplemental treatment for moisturizing dry skin, such as atopic eczema in infants and adults, psoriasis, ichthyosis, senile pruritus. And it’s formulated to be the same PH as your skin, our body wash soothes skin while keeping it soft and supple. I would highly recommend this product and I plan on purchasing more soon to use on both my kids!

I would highly recommend checking out this company and am excited Plagentra products are available in the US and Canada! Plagentra has an entire skin and body care system, from lotions to soaps, oils to creams, there’s something there for all your skin needs! If you’d like to try before you buy, you can request FREE SAMPLES right from their website.

This company prides itself on containing only the best ingredients such as the powerful and nutrient-rich sea buckthorn berry – harvested exclusively from the Himalayas. Each of their products are paraben-free, cruelty-free and preservative-free and promote improved skin tone, texture and overall healthy aging. I was very happy to see that all of their products rated fantastically on the EWG Skin Deep Data Base (0-1) which is the lowest and safest rating a product can get!

I’ve been using Sibu Beauty’s Sea Buckthorn Balancing facial cleanser for a few days now and been quite satisfied with the results that I’ve been getting with the product. This particular product is deep yet gentle. The exfoliating properties are obviously there and are gentle enough to not agitate the skin in any way.

Sibu Beauty’s detoxifying facial cleanser easily removes dirt, impurities and make-up while maintaining a healthy balance in your skin without compromising its natural protective nutrients. After use my face felt fresh & clean throughout the span of the day and I loved how easily it was to use and welcomed the fact that it was a non-foaming gel. I’ve used other cleansers and the foaming was just a bit too much for my liking.

I found this product on sale for 8.98 on the Supplement Warehouse website for a 4 ounce bottle. It usually retails for 17.99 at other places such as GNC and on the Sibu Beaty website. On the Sibu Beauty site, you can purchase the product for 17.95 with free shipping and handling charges though if there’s a GNC around you can pop in and see if it’s available to save you the trouble of buying online. I would recommend this product if you are looking for an all natural facial cleanser that is safe for your skin and for the environment around you.

**Guest review written by: Justin N. Lowmaster**

Previous to the Norelco, I had a plug-in ConAir clippers. They cut my hair fine, but the cord was a bit of a bother. I’d normally have to use an extension cord to be able to use it where I would make the least amount of mess. The case it all came in wasn’t all that huge, but it contained a myriad of attachments and finding the right one was a bother. Cleaning the inside of the clippers was a real chore and took far longer than it should. You had to remove the blades to do it. Enter the Norelco.

First thing I noticed was the size. It’s much more compact than my previous clippers. It plugs in to charge, so when I used it, I didn’t have to worry about the cable limiting me or getting in my way.

There are also only a total of 6 attachments, and all are small. There are two sized (width) of clippers, and one adjustable sizing attachment for each. No more digging around for that #2. The clippers and guides work together in harmony, with a pair of designators on the clippers that align with the guides so it’s very easy to see what setting it is on.

The clippers are also super easy to clean. You just take them off and can blow them out and use the included brush to remove the hair waste material. The brush has two different sides that reach and clean all the various bits you might want to clean.

There’s also a nose hair clipper attachment, and a mini shaver. I suggest keeping the latter on when you store the Norelco and attachments in the handy bag. If somehow the clipper gets turned on, it’s least likely to cause any damage. You should keep at least one attachment on to keep the Norelco clean and to keep the moving part grease on the moving parts from getting all over stuff.

The Norelco is a dream. There’s less bits to mess around with, and the bits there are all work fantastically. I cut my hair and beard in no time with none of the fuss of my previous clippers. I adore it.

If you are thinking about purchasing, The Philips Norelco Qg3270/41 Multigroom Pro, Silver can be bought for $39.99 & this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping on Amazon.com.

This product most definitely has the ability to make your shower or bath experience that much better for many reasons!

So what is a Spongeable? It’s basically a one of a kind all in one sponge that’s infused with cleansers and skin care ingredients that make for a superb cleansing, exfoliating, massaging, and moisturizing experience unlike any other!

Each Spongeable is formulated with the finest skin care ingredients that include:

OLIVE OIL: The perfect hydration for all skin types.
GLYCERIN: A gentle cleansing agent that prevents moisture loss & helps skin maintain a good moisture balance
SHEA BUTTER: The optimum daily moisturizer for dry skin
VITAMINS A & E: Two powerfully healing antioxidants prevent premature aging and skin damage
each chosen to enhance the body’s complexion from neck to toe.

My Experience…

I was sent a Spongeables® Lavender Nectar in the 20+ uses 3.5 oz unit and a 1.2 oz, 5+ use travel size to share my thoughts on. I found that this product lathered well and left my skin looking and feeling great. It made for a great shower experience and smelled so good without being over the top. I am usually pretty sensitive to smells so the fact that this product didn’t bother me was wonderful.

The exfoliating part of the sponge worked great on rough spots and I was really happy with the fact that I didn’t have to use multiple products while showering. Usually I have to reach for my body wash, sponge, and exfoliating things . The all in one properties of the Spongeables makes for great convenience in time saving and it’s perfect to carry a long when traveling! In fact, I am planning on taking a long the travel size Spongeable I received next month when we are on vacation!

Spongeables® come in variety of designs and scents to meet the needs of everyone in the family. I’d be interested in trying out the Grapefruit Spongeable and perhaps getting the Ducky Duo for my kids!

If you are interested in purchasing Spongeables® for yourself you can purchase them from their website and also from many well known retailers such as Walgreens, Amazon, and more. These products also are offered in already pre-made gift baskets that are great for giving to someone you love!

Did you know that tweezers are known to have been used in predynastic Egypt? Tweezers are something that most everyone has on hand for many needs such as personal grooming, removing insect stingers & splinters, crafting, and even for working on computers.

I recently was given the opportunity to review the Luma Tweeze from As Seen on Tv. And though I personally won’t be working on any computers with these, I believe they are very handy when it comes to using them for my own personal grooming needs and removing unwanted objects from the skin.

So what’s so special about Luma Tweeze compared to the regular run of the mill tweezers you can pick up in any store? Well, these tweezers are the only precision lighted tweezers with a built-in LED light and magnifier! These features, combined with the stainless steel precision tips, make Luma Tweeze the easiest to use tweezers ever created!

I like that these tweezers give me the wanted magnification and the precision when tweezing. It’s so much nicer than getting blinded by one of those large magnified, very brightly lighted bathroom mirrors! These are great to keep one for around the house and I can throw one in my purse for on the go fashion or bug stinging emergencies. And no worries about these tweezers damaging anything else whether in my bathroom draw or in my purse with the tips because there’s a cap to go on the the Luma Tweeze when you are through.

Overall,I am pretty happy with this product as it’s very easy to handle! I consider it a must have for all your tweezing needs.

I never knew the wonders that flat irons worked until just recently. It all started with the need for a a hair cut/trim. I hadn’t gotten paid yet and was getting pretty desperate to have my hair trimmed to rid it of all my split ends, so I let my husband have go at it. I remember thinking it couldn’t be too bad a request could it? It was not a good request at all. My hair was pretty long and my husband just couldn’t’ get it all even it resulted in a not very desirable hair cut. So I knew I had to make a professional appointment to get everything fixed and that my friends was one of the best choices I could have ever made and should have made in the first place!Instead of just getting my hair shaped up, I decided to go totally with a new look. I’m a mom of a toddler and a baby on the way so I don’t have a ton of time to style my hair when heading out the door. I decided to go with something manageable yet stylish, and much shorter than I usually keep my hair. Trust me, if it was any longer I would automatically put my hair up in a clip or the well known mom pony tail. So what did I choose but an angled bob which no doubt it the perfect haircut for me.

During my hair cut, I saw the magic that Professional Flat Irons could work on hair for the very first time ever! My hair went from out of shape, to cute, stylish, and shiny literally in minutes! Soon after my visit to the salon, I acquired my own Karmin G3 Pro flat iron and have been nothing but happy with it. I can style my own hair in no time and it’ll stay that way for days or until I wash it! I love the fact also that flat irons can do more than straighten but can curl your hair in or out depending on your preference! So like me I bet you may be interested in getting your own flat iron but have no idea where to start! One place you can check out is Hair Products Pro. They offer a huge selection of flat irons from name brands such as Karmin, Hana, NuMe Flat Irons, and not just that but other professional hair styling products such as hair dryers, scissors, curling irons, and more.

I really like Hair Products Pro because they offer full products descriptions, suggestions, reviews, and the site if very easy to navigate! I’m sure they’ll make any future hair styling products or accessories purchases much easier and assuring.

Do you have a Flat Iron and if you do, how has your experience been with it?

Disclaimer: I received a flat iron for including specific links in this post. All opinions and thoughts are 100% mine!

My skin is usually only dry and sensitive during the cool months of autumn and winter. So I usually don’t have moisturizing skin cream on hand but I know that I should. Also, I’ve taken on the new mindset of applying and protecting my skin as a get older. Which means taking the time to apply skin care products every day. I wish it were as easy as all that, first question is where do I start? I do know that organic products are definitely a must.

Lotions and skin moisturizers can still be effective without having alcohols, artificial fragrances, and petroleum, that does nothing good for our skin. In Tropical Traditions organic moisturizing cream you’ll find the following ingredients: purified water, organic virgin coconut oil, plant based emulsifying wax, palm stearic, grapefruit seed extract, organic beeswax, and organic virgin palm oil. Nothing odd or out of the ordinary there!

Tropical Traditions is one of my favorite places to check out for all sorts of wonderful organic products! I happened across their lavender organic moisturizing cream and have been using it for about two weeks now. A little goes a long way with this moisturizer as it’s highly concentrated. As I applied it to my face, hands, and body, I found it’s texture to be thick and creamy. Because it doesn’t contain alcohols, it took a little longer to absorb into my skin. No oily residue was left behind after use of this product and no odd break outs to skin. My skin was left feeling smooth, soft, and smelling wonderful!

The 4 oz. container of Tropical Traditions Moisturizing Skin Cream is regularly 19.50 but is on special right now for $13.50!

I’m going to be giving away a gift set from Tropical Traditions during the month of November, after a series of various product reviews of the items included. Be on the look out for your chance to enter! Note that if you comment on this review, you’ll get an extra entry into the giveaway **
The fantastic slim tube are perfect for not making your jean pockets look overly bulky too! Note also that if your lip stick doesn’t contain protection for your lips and most cases it won’t, you an apply Softlips over or under to provide your lips proper care!

I was given the opportunity as of lately to try out several fantastic new flavors of Softlips Lip Balm with SPF 20 from their Pure organic lip line and their Limited Edition Winter Flavors line.

The winter flavors I was able to try are Sugar & Spice, Sugar Plum Berry, Winter Mint, and Sugar Cookie. These fantastic flavors definitely get you into the Holiday season with reminders of everything we love and cherish during this time of the year. I am fond of all the flavors but my top two would have to be the cherry sugar cookie and the winter mint, yum!

I think it’s fantastic that Softlips has come out with an Organic Lip Conditioner line. This line is 95% certified organic and 100% natural, USDA-certified, and is made up of a blend of organic oils, beeswax and shea butter. Softlips has made these available in four new flavors of Acai Berry, Chai Tea, Pomegranate, Peppermint, and Honeydew. I’m a big fan of mint so I absolutely adore the peppermint flavor and the pomegranate closes in at second!

Softlips products are priced around $2.79 for one 0.07 ounce stick and $3.99 for the value pack containing 2 Softlips sticks.

I probably have way more shampoo, lotions, and soaps than I need crammed on the rack in my bathroom. I have quite a bit because sometimes my skin has a negative effect to a product that I wasn’t able to try before I bought it. I want to smell nice but I don’t want my skin to get all dried out or have my skin break out.

Since my skin issues to other products, I’ve discovered the benefits of organic products like the ones offered at Tropical Traditions. What’s so special? Well, many of products like their soaps are made from non-refined, fresh, organic coconuts from the Philippines and no chemical solvents are used in processing.

I was sent Tropical Traditions Coconut soap in Lavender to try out. I found that the soap smell wasn’t overpowering and that it lathered nicely. I’ve been amazed at the results of my skin after using this soap, even my husband likes using it! It’s hard to believe a product that has left my skin feeling so fresh and smelling so delightful only consist of two ingredients!

I’m hoping to eventually get my hands on the only other scent available Tea Tree. These round 3.4 oz soaps normally cost $6.95 a piece but right now are on sell for 5.50 each! Check them out for yourself at Tropical Traditions.

I’m going to be giving away a gift set from Tropical Traditions during the month of November, after a series of various product reviews of the items included. Be on the look out for your chance to enter! Note that if you comment on this review, you’ll get an extra entry into the giveaway **
