Nia Bug {review & giveaway}

I am happy to introduce to you Nia Bug! If you like anything handmade I’m sure you’ll love the products offered by this crafty mother or two with another on the way in December! If you swing on over to Nia Bug you’ll see many beautifully crafted and well thought out products in rich colors such as diaper wipe case covers, headbands, hats in all sorts of styles, and adorable baby booties!
I was given the opportunity to review the hat pictured above and I love it! It fits me perfectly and the three color combination she chose go so well together! The flower tops this hat off giving it that special something! I’m definitely a fan and will be looking to this shop for more great designs when I get the itch for a vividly thought out hat ,whether for myself or for my children.
I really did enjoy getting to know Melinda. If you are wondering how we crossed paths, it was through her husband’s Super Secret Podcast for Husbands which can be found on Itunes. Basically my husband heard her husband mention her love for creating things and about her shop Nia Bug and it went from there. I love getting to know the creator behind whatever handmade items I purchase or would like to purchase. I figured I would ask a few questions for you to get to know more her and her shop Nia Bug as well.
1.Why did you decide to start doing this and how long have you been?
In October 2010, I realized I needed a hat for my daughter, so I found a pattern and tried to make one. It turned out great and I decided to tweak the pattern a little and add holes for my daughter’s pigtails to go through. After making several hats, I decided to try and start selling them. Nia (Alivia) is my daughter and I call her my Nia Bug.
And of course, running around after my 1 and 3 year old keeps me very busy!
5.In five years you’d like to be…?
I have two kids now and one on the way (due Dec). My husband and I have always wanted at least four kids, so I hope to have all of them by then. I want to continue creating new things for my family and others. Hopefully with a few new designs between now and then. I will be homeschooling my children and continue serving alongside my husband with whatever ministry he is doing.
Nia Bug is offering one of my readers one of her custom made necklaces! (They are so pretty!)

My Baby Clothes Boutique {Giveaway + Review}
Have a special event such as a family photo shoot coming up? How about that upcoming wedding, birthday party, or any other well known holiday that you’d prefer your child dressed up nicely at? If you are not sure where to look for decently priced fashionable high quality apparel for these special occasions you should look no further than My Baby Clothes Boutique.
I quite enjoyed browsing the boutique and welcomed how easy navigation really was on their site! I was able to search by gender, type of baby clothes, child size (0-4t), accessories such as baby headbands & hats, shoes, sweet little tutus and pettiskirts, and much more. And if you are needing any help they offer a live online help chat or call their toll free number.
I was able to have my pick of anything in their store under twenty five dollars. I chose to review the Floral Halter Dress in size 3t for the upcoming Easter holiday though it can be worn for more than just that day. I have to say that this dress fits my daughter perfectly! I was a little worried it might not fit because she’s pretty petite like me but it fits so well! I even bet she’ll be able to wear this dress next year too.
I like that the Floral Halter dress is fully lined underneath making it thick but not too heavy. Some dresses that are white in color and have the tendency to be see-thru but that’s not the case at all with this one. The orange in this dress is actual a soft peach. The leaves sparkle and the large orange bow is the perfect accent! I also love the added ruffles around the neckline that add extra femininity. Overall this is a very lovely dress that I am sure anyone would really be taken with.
My hat is off to My Baby Clothes Boutique for having a “We Also Reccomend” section on each product page. For instance on the product page of the dress I’m reviewing they suggested two different pairs of matching sandals, and a very sweet headband! I just love the extra mile this company is going to help you find the perfect outfit for your children!
Overall, I will definitely be checking My Baby Clothes Boutique again!

Snuggle Feet | Baby & Toddler Shoes {review & giveaway}
I absolutely adore soft sole baby and toddler shoes! Ever since the birth of my daughter, I’ve purchased many-many pairs. Sadly the collection of soft sole shoes has pretty much stopped for my daughter since she’s needing more support. Another reason is because they don’t usually make these types of shoes in bigger size.
Recently I was introduced to Snuggle Feet baby shoes, and was given the opportunity to review a pair of shoes for both my 2 year old daughter and 7 week old son. I was able to review for both my children because these shoes go from sizes 0-6 to 24-36 month in size!
After browsing the selection of over twenty Snuggle Feet baby shoes, (which wasn’t easy because all the designs are too cute) I choose to review the Dinosaur shoes and Pink Pretty Bird shoes for my children.
Snuggle Feet shoes are made of soft, flexible leather with cotton-lined soles and an elastic ankle band. They are great for preventing your little one from losing their socks, especially when out and about. These are also perfect for babies just learning to walk because they are slip proof and protect little feet from whatever may be on the floor or ground.
I like that the bottom of the shoes are a dark grayish color, so they always look clean! I’m also a fan that the elastic isn’t super tight in leaving uncomfortable marks on ankles. I’ve let both my kids wear their shoes all day and they’ve been perfectly happy in them! These shoes are very durable and are the best thing next best thing to bare feet!
I encourage you to check out these great shoes for yourself at Snuggle Feet . There are many great boy designs such as sports, animals, sailboats, and more. The girl designs are just as cute with froggies, birds, flowers, and kitty cats to name just a few! There’s a handy size selection chart on their site as well as top quality customer service.
Snuggle Feet shoes are reasonably priced at about 15.00 each. They also offer a line of baby leg warmers and socks.
