I recently was given the opportunity to try out Picture Collage Maker Pro.  This is a useful and helpful software program that gives people the opportunity to easily create and share photo collage projects of all kinds. In fact, right now they have a Special  Christmas Edition that contains 26 abundant brand new professional Christmas templates to create Holiday cards to send along to friends and family. I love that you can choose whether or not if you’d like to print or send your creations by e-mail or regular post. You can even create desktop wallpaper of all your favorite photos!

I’ve been using this software for about a week now and I’ll have to say that it’s very user friendly! There are options to use pre-made templates, but you can also customize and create your very own quite easily. There are backgrounds, stickers, photo frames, and any more items and tools to create a one of a kind gift or greeting that’s specific to you and your family to share or keep for yourself.

There’s a resource page which you can download add on templates to include in the program! Tutorials and design ideas and suggestions also can be found. If you fan the software created Pearl Mountain on Facebook you’ll be able to download some great bonus templates too! If you sign up for their free newsletter you’ll be in the know of when new templates and updates are available.

Overall I am really happy with Picture Collage Maker Pro. It’s user-friendly. It doesn’t slow down my computer like other collage sites and programs I’ve used. It has lots of great pre-made templates to choose from for holidays, seasons, and so much more. I couldn’t be happier!

Speaking of a classic, who hasn’t built a fort with blankets strung across chairs or other furniture growing up? I know I did. I was beyond thrilled when I was given the opportunity to review several products from the Kidorable “Space Hero Collection” for my baby boy. This collection is incredibly adorable!  It was right up my alley since we’ve been sticking with an outer space theme since my little boy was born! Rockets, the moon, stars, aliens, astronaut, they totally covered everything I could have ever hoped to find in a rain jacket and more! I was so ecstatic that I  texted my best friend, my husband, and social networked about my find so anyone else that may have been looking for something similar could also see what was offered in the brand new collections!

My friend just got the  brand new Dragon Knight set for her baby boy and oh my gosh both of our sons are totally styling, completely oozing with cuteness! We’ll apologize to them later for all the flashes from cameras, squeezed cheeks from family members, over the top attention, and embarrassing pictures to share with their girl friends and to include in their future graduation photo slide show.

I was sent the Space Hero Raincoat which included a free rocket ship hanger, Space Hero boots,  and the matching Rocket Ship Backpack to review. This collection comes in classic yet bold space man themed colors of gray, blue, and orange. It’s very eye catching and perfect for any child sizes one through six years old.

The Space Hero Raincoat is made out of PVC which is very easy to wipe clean and lined with polyester. It has one flap over pocket on the front, four button snaps from top to bottom, and inner loop for hanging. The raincoat itself has hood that  looks like an astronaut helmet. It’s really cute! My 11 month old baby boy is still growing into this coat as it’s 12-18 months in size. But he can wear it now if I roll up his sleeves. It’s got enough give to put over a bulky sweater too making this rain coat perfect for almost all season!

The Space Hero boots, are perfect for puddle jumping! These are excellent in resisting water with the natural rubber exterior and the top part is cinched so no water gets inside! The cinched top is also perfect for tucking in the bottom of your child’s pants. These boots are light weight so it won’t weigh down your children’s feet as they are walking or running. Speaking of running, the non-skid soles improve traction on wet surfaces and are great in preventing accidents.  You can easily wipe these clean after a day in the mud! This style of boot is available in My First (size 5), children’s sizes 6-13, plus young adult sizes 1 and 2.

I recently was introduced to a great vinyl wall decal company called Belvedere Designs. This company specializes in offering unique vinyl wall art! I’m a fan of the US version of the Office TV show and was quite pleased with the selection of t-shirts pertaining to the hit show found at Nacho Mama Tees for both men and women. It’s very high quality being 100% cotton and it’s not super thin! It got some body behind it and it fits like a glove being true to size! It hold up great in the wash, doesn’t shrink, and it still looks brand new after many washes!

The Costume Squad, a  store that sells costumes and costume t-shirts thought not limited to for men and women features the  hilarious “Sick of my Job” shirt. The design has a merry-go-round horse tossing it’s cookies into a waste basket. We can admit it, we all get sick of our jobs sometimes and can be left spinning. And even though we all feel this way sometimes we are all probably very thankful to have a job right now in our current economy.This particular shirt invokes a laugh, breaks the ice, and making a great conversation starter.

I was sent the above mentioned Sick of my Job shirt to review in a ladies medium. I can vouch this shirt is perfect in size, not to loose or too tight. It’s been washed several times and hasn’t shrunk or showing any signs of fading. The shirt itself is super soft and extremely comfortable! It’s now one of the first shirts I go to wear when heading out and about.

Putamayo has just released  “Celtic Christmas“, a wonderfully enchanting collection of music put together to lift the spirits and put you in that cheerful holiday mood. On this particular collection listeners an enjoy Celtic interpretations of well known Christmas songs from Ireland, England, Scotland, Canada, and the USA.

As soon as you pop this cd in you’ll be welcomed by a joyful rendition of “Here We Come A-Wassalling”sung by the Albion Christmas Band. Then you will continue on with songs that are completely instrumental as well as sung by a variety of artist.

I quite enjoyed the light hearted yet deep instrumentals sounds of each track. You are in for a treat with the uplifting yet comforting playing of flute, harp, guitar, mandolin, and fiddle.  There are also solos as some songs and harmoniousness grouped singing on others.

There are eleven tracks total and the  collection run time is pretty close to thirty-five minutes. Tracks my family loved were “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Little Drummer Girl, and an original Gaelic recording of “Nollaig Bhan (White Christmas)”.

Music is always wonderful gift to share with others. I don’t know about you but music for me triggers memories.  I would encourage you to think about picking this up to listen to through the holiday season. It would be wonderful to  listen to in the car, when you are baking those holiday goodies, wrapping those presents, and cuddled up with the family on the couch next to the fire. What is a FyrFlyz toy? It’s basically a really cool LED light up toy that uses precision balance to provide for tons of fun in the dark! It basically works by swinging, twirling, and spinning the two strings on the toy in all sorts of ways to make really fun multi-color light shapes! I will admit it took a few minutes to figure out how to work these toys but after that we were good to go anytime we picked it back up. Very easy!

FyrFlyz come in three different color combinations, Cyclone (green and white), Nytfyr ( red and white), and Blue Angel (Multi Color and Blue). There a small on and off switch on the backside of the toy and batteries for these are included and can be easily replaced hassle free.

This toy may be suited best for outdoor use or in a room with a good amount of space for safety sake of not hitting someone else or breaking things! They would be the perfect toy to bring along when camping, attending firework shows, or any other night time outdoors activities as they are the perfect size to stuff in a pocket. Age recommendation is children 8 and up but I think the younger ones would enjoy this too.
