Easy Crock Pot Pear or Apple Sauce
Making your own apple or pear sauce is very easy to do! In fact, it’s so incredibly easy that I tend to prefer this method for taste and ease compared to buying the already prepared stuff which in my opinion is a little overpriced. I love that preparing your own pear and apple sauce in a slow cooker/ crockpot makes your house smell wonderful as well! I hope you enjoy my picture how to guide in this post.
Step 1. Decide whether you want to make apple or pear sauce and do have a good number of
fruit selected as I find it more satisfactory to make larger batches at a time.

Step 2. Peel and wash your fruit.

Step 3. Cut your fruit, making sure to remove all traces of core. I found using a fruit slicer
makes this step fly by! I for one use my extremely affordable fruit slicer from IKEA.

Step 4. Place your sliced fruit into a crock pot.

Step 5. Generously sprinkle cinnamon and cook on low for 3-4 hours.

Step 6. When fruit is tender, use a food processor or potato masher to
make your fruit into the consistency of sauce. Make to refrigerate after it’s done.
( I would recommend eating your sauce within two weeks of being made)
