Review: Paper Culture
At Paper Culture our mantra is “be modern. be eco.” Whether you’re looking for baby announcements, baby shower invitations, holiday cards, birthday party invitations, bridal shower invitations, stationery or bamboo wall art, Paper Culture has set out to deliver bold modern design through eco friendly products. Over 130,000 people have become fans of Paper Culture on Facebook, and Paper Culture’s products have been featured in People, Real Simple, Daily Candy, the Wall Street Journal and at the Tony Awards.
Great things to know about Paper Culture!
- Modern Designs - Clean lines, bold colors and fresh typography
- Eco-Friendly – No new trees are cut down because Paper Culture uses exclusively 100% post consumer recycled paper for card and envelope. In addition, Paper Culture plants a tree with every order and has planted over 200,000 trees to date.
- Premium Quality – Paper Culture cards are printed on 130 lb. weight heavy stock paper cut with signature rounded corners. By comparison most leading companies use only 80-110 lb paper.
- Mail and Message - If you choose, Paper Culture will stuff, address, stamp and mail your cards for you for FREE. The only charge for this service is the actual cost of the stamps! Also, when you provide your addresses, you have the option to print a unique, personalized message on the back of each card. Say what you want, to whom, on one, some or all your cards!
- Signature Packaging –When you choose to address and mail your cards yourself, Paper Culture will ship them in a signature logo box (made of recycled paper of course) – a keepsake to store your cards in style while they wait to be sent.
My Thoughts…I am completely aware of the fact that some would say it was out of the question to have ordered my christmas cards? four months before the Holiday was to arrive. My reasoning is that I know how busy and sometimes life can get around that time of the year and I’d rather be prepared now. The beauty of ordering online is something I am thankful for everyday!
I am 100% satisfied with the cards I completely customized to my every want like and whim at the Paper Culture website. I loved the huge selection to browse through and the ease of navigating on their website. I never had an issue in wandering around or when checking out.
After I had ordered, I was sent an e-mail proof to make sure everything was as it should have been before the printing process. I like that this is done because sometime being human, we can make a mistake. It’s great to look it over a time or two to make sure everything is perfect!
The cards arrived in a very sturdy little box. I appreciated the extra personal touches that this company so nicely demonstrated. The fact that they’ve gone the extra mile really makes my day and will continually bring me back in supporting them. Also it’s wonderful that for every order the company receives, a tree is planted and you can dedicate it someone you know!
I recommend checking out Paper Culture for all your stationary, cards, invitations, and art needs. I found their prices to be decent and their quality to be impeccable.

My Thoughts on Snazzy Swap
I’d like to introduce you to a new to me swap site called Snazzy Swap. The motto of this site reads “High Quality, Cute Clothing and Great Toys Don’t Have to Cost a Fortune”. And as a frugal mom trying to save a buck wherever possible, I couldn’t agree more especially during this time of the year when kids really need new clothes for back-to-school and the upcoming Autumn and Winter seasons!
Basically how Snazzy Swap works is you can easily navigate the site to pick a box either of clothing, book and dvds, or toys for your own family or as a gift for friend or family member. The prices on the boxes are clothing boxes $15.95 each as well as the books/dvd boxes ( medium flat rate), and it’s $19.95 for toys boxes (Large Flat Rate). So basically you are only spending $5.00 each box plus the cost of shipping and it’s free to join with no memberships fees whatsoever!
One thing I really like is that you can sign up for box notifications to arrive directly to your e-mail for whatever size clothes or toy or book/dvd box age range is posted. How awesome is that? It saves you the time and let’s you know right away if something you may want can be purchased. So you can pick a box for free to start and then you are required to post your own box before being able to pick another, hence it is a swap site. I posted a box of 12-18 months clothes that were in great used condition that my son has recently grown out of. It’s super simple to list a box, add photos, and write out a decent description that other mommies can see to know if your box is for them!
I’ve been doing my back to school and Fall season shopping now and found two awesome boxes on Snazzy Swap for both my four year old daughter and my 1 1/2 year old son. And have come to the conclusion that it’s not likely that I could have spent the same amount at one of my local thrift or consignment store and received that same number of quality items that I did through this swapping site.
The size 2t box I picked out for my son was super packed, I honestly can’t believe that 14 items were included. One smart momma sure knew how to pack a box. I found all items in excellent used condition. And what a surprise to find that one of the shirts in the box even was new with tag still attached from the GAP!
In the 4t box I picked for my daughter was 3 dresses, 2 sweaters, gap fleece pullover, pink cardigan/plaid wool skirt combo! Everything was beautiful and in excellent condition. I know it sounds like there was a lot less in this box but you have to remember it’s 4t and the clothing is all suitable for the Fall and Winter season so it’s bulkier. But 8 items for the low price I paid still really pleases me. As I mentioned before there’s no way I could have gotten this many quality items elsewhere for the same price!
Snazzy Swap is a site I will continue swapping on and highly recommending to all my friends and readers. I encourage you to check it out for yourself. This site is also giving back by donating $0.50 from each swap to help kids with special needs! And if you have any questions, the customer support is great and will get back to you rather quickly.
