BzzAgent Campaign Featuring: Filippo Berio Olive Oil

The Summer season is upon us and I’ve been looking to cook lighter and healthier meals for my family. One of our favorite go to meals during this time of year is salads. My family  enjoys having salads with a bit of olive oil and a little bit of sea salt to add a bit of flavor without covering and hiding the flavor of what’s in our salads. And with that being said, I’m thrilled to share about the  free bottle of Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil I recieved and have been using as part of being a  BzzAgent at BzzAgent.com.

If you are looking to incorporate Olive Oil into your cooking, you should know that Filippo Berio extra Virgin Olive Oil is a 100% natural product that is high in good fats that our bodies need (monounsaturated fats) , contains no trans fat or cholesterol, contains no sugar, salt, or gluten, and it can help reduce the risk of heart disease, as well as help control blood pressure and blood sugar levels

I’ve been using Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil in numerous ways as it’s great for salad dressings, bread dipping sauce, pasta dishes, condiments, and much more. I found it to be very tasty when I mixed it up with 1/3 cup cider vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. My lunch salads have never been so tasty!  It’s a great healthy choice for the whole family and it’s made watching my weight much easier! (You can find more Health benefits on the Filippo Website). I highly recommend it!

Music Review: Secret Agent 23 Skidoo “Make Believers”

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo’s albums have previously garnered acclaim in Time, People, USA Today, and from Stefan Shepherd on NPR’s “All Things Considered.” His original track “Cooperate” is featured on the 2012 Grammy award-winning children’s album All About Bullies… Big and Small.23 Skidoo has rocked sets at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits,The Winnipeg Folk Festival, Irving Plaza, Legoland and The Smithsonian Institution.

Our Thoughts

Okay, I know a lot of people that aren’t fans of the hip hop and rap genre and to each their own. I wanted to let parents know what to expect as in the sound of music that Secret Agent 23 Skidoo offers. I for one don’t often listen to that sorta genre either mainly because the lyrics aren’t very wholesome but that’s not the case in this children’s music cd “Make Believers”. This is a toe tapping, head bobbing collection full of songs with rich lyrics, grooving beats, and this entire CD meets kids where they are! It’s such a refreshing collection of kids music compared to a lot of it that’s out there. I for one as a parent appreciate the diversity and fresh sounds.

There are many great songs found on “Make Believe”, such as ones talking about the the first day of school, make believe play, loving who you are before you can be friend someone else, dealing with bullies, self image, and so many more! Songs are best suited and are recommend for elementary school grades though my 4 year old daughter and 1 1/2 year old son really love dancing along. I’m sure the lyrics will start hitting closer to home in due time.

I highly recommend this CD and am sure you’ll love it just as much as your kids! Right now you can purchase a digital copy of Make Believers on Amazon.com for $5.99 or you can get a CD copy for $13.00 here.
