Tropical Traditions Organic Canadian Raw Honey {Review and Giveaway}

Again, I’m impressed with the products Tropical Traditions offers. And Today my impressed feelings are specially geared toward the most divine pure honey I’ve ever tasted in my life!

I was specifically sent a 17.5 ounce jar of Organic Canadian Raw Honey to review. I must state again that this honey is like no other! First it’s raw so I was a little surprised of it’s consistency and color which wasn’t all smooth or amber gold like I am used to when it comes to honey.

Did you know that Honey may be used as a sugar substitute? For equivalent ingredient amounts, use ¾ cup of honey to replace 1 cup of sugar and lower the water added by ¼ cup for every cup of honey used!

I tried this honey in my tea and it was the perfect sweetener and from there I got a little more creative! I tried it on my biscuits & cornbread and in some recently baked cookies and it tasted great! I hands down can taste quite a difference from refined honey and the raw honey and overall prefer the raw! I can’t wait to use this in more of my cooking. Oddly enough, I have a feeling I’m going to go through this jar pretty quickly.
