A Friend in the Storm {Book Review}

A Friend in the Storm
Written By: Cheryl Ricker

A Friend in the Storm is a book that should be sitting on every bedside, coffee table, and book shelf or wherever else that you tend to go to in finding comfort and rest in your home. We all have storms in life whether they be very big or very small, we need to be reminded that comfort from the Lord is only a prayer away.

The simplicity of this book is desirable as each two spread page features an inspirational scripture along side a short reflective poem, and a quotes by well known christian leaders. I find myself flipping through this book on daily basis and am always refreshed afterward. This book is designed to be a reminder of God’s grace providing us with the reminder that perfect peace, comfort, and hope comes from Him in dealing through all of our shortcomings and struggles.
