In which what could have been treated sooner…
Why is it as I get older think I can hold off on I don’t know proper medical care until it’s starts getting ugly? Well, do you remember those so called bedbugs, spider bites, or whatever it was I mentioned a few weeks ago? Well, it got a lot worse before I actually decided to be seen by a professional.
I went in to the critical care unit last week because as seemingly un-painful ( I told myself this) as it was, it got worse, a lot worse. The so called skin ailment, had spread across my chest up and down my under arm area and over my back. It was quite inflamed and extremely itchy…any sort of anti-itch cream wasn’t cutting it anymore.
The Doctor told me I had an extremely bad Tinea/Ringworm infection that was probably caused by our previously owned kitty cat. I was given a strong prescription medication and told to stay on it for two weeks time. I’m currently still on the meds right now and it seems like my infection is starting to go away and it isn’t spreading which is a true blessing despite not being my total self.
…And to top it all off, I now have another cold..sore through, the works. I’m ready for the warmer weather and ready to be well over all of these physical ailments.
I’ve a blog birthday bash to put together for my daughter’s second birthday that’s in about three weeks and a birthday party/zoo trip to plan. Can I have a vacation from my problems? lol
Riddex® Plus {review}
When I was a child, I lived in numerous places and some of those places we had a few unexpected guest that also wanted to take up residence with us. Having rodents in our home was really stressful and it was never fun or desirable to put out mouse traps or harmful poison to rid our homes of unwanted rodents. This was also a hazard with having small children around.
It pleases me to know that there are products on the market now like Riddex that completely drives unwanted Rodents out of your home without the use of any toxic pesticides. It’s a very easy to use product as well, you just plug it and it does the rest using new Electromagnetic Technology to drive rodents away without killing them!
Riddex® Plus has been so successful removing pests for the past 12 years that over 3 million have been sold. One Riddex® Plus protects up to 2000sq. ft. or one level of a typical house, condominium or apartment.

The Adventures of Pookster & Bubs by Rhonda Funk {children’s book review}
In The Adventures of Pookster and Bubs, you’ll be introduced to sister Pookster and brother Bubs. Both in their everyday lives learn some pretty important lessons and principles to take to heart directly from the word of God.
In the story Pookster & the Unloose Tooth by Rhonda Funk, Pookster learns a valuable lesson about patience when it comes to loosing her two front teeth after forcefully causing one of her teeth to come out when it just wasn’t ready!
And in the story Pookster and the Practically Perfect Pickle, Pookster learns the importance of loving and unloving attitudes through her words which could be sour to those that are sweet much like pickles.
I’ve found each book to be illustrated perfectly by Eric Kieninger in a fun comic style. And with each of the books in this series a read along cd is included that is narrated by the author and her own children whom were the inspiration for these fun stories! I personally appreciated the sounds effects that were added to the reading of this story in which making it more visual to it’s readers and listeners.
I love that at the end of each of these books, there is a section called What I’ve Learned and on the final page a Bible verses that relates to the lesson taught that your children can memorize if they so choose! And the fact that these books are perfect for both boys and girls alike is just another great feature.
I really enjoyed reading these books and I have no doubt that when my daughter is a little older that she’ll enjoy listening and reading these books as well. I look forward to more additions to the Pookster and Bubs series.
Pookster and the Unloose Tooth & Pookster and the Practically Perfect Pickle can be purchased from Amazon for $9.59 for paperback and 2.99 on the Kindle.
