Seafood Pak Shrimp {review}

I’m so glad my family aren’t picky eaters! My daughter Melody who is almost two years old can be picky sometimes, which is typical for a toddler but she never and do mean never refuses seafood! She takes on my love and Japanese heritage of eating fish and seaweed products.

I was literally in shock after I learned that a national study found that 91% of American children are not eating the recommended amount of seafood.

Seafood has such great benefits! Did you know that Cold water, deep-sea fish are particularly high in omega-3 fatty acids that help protect against many diseases such as cancer, arthritis, high blood pressure, strokes and heart disease? Seafood is great because it’s full of so much protein and many other essential nutrients.

I was given the opportunity to review some great shrimp  from a company called SeaPak shrimp Co! I was skeptical at first, I’ve had other easy-to-prepare products seafood products from the frozen section that were more batter than fish and the flavor was really lacking, this was not the case with the butterfly shrimp my family and I had for dinner from SeaPak.

My family and I found these shrimp very juicy and full of rich flavor. It was really hard to believe from our past experiences with frozen seafood! These were so easy to prepare as we preheated the oven, cooked for the directed time, and voila a great seafood dinner without all the hustle and bustle. I tend to prepare my own shrimp but sometimes I am short on time and love that there are great healthy substitutes like this available thanks to the SeaPak shrimp Co.
