My Thoughts…
I was glad for the opportunity to read a title in the Love Finds You in Lonesome Prairie series. I’m a fan of historical christian fiction and also of warm tales of those finding love when they least expect it.
As I began to read this book, I swept into the story of Julia, a young woman whom ended up being led away from her own comforts and into a land great, wide, and quite unknown to her. On her journey, she grows to learn more about God and the gentle loving hearts of those she encounters.
Julie as well as the male lead (a parson) in the story though not realizing until quite sometime learn that God’s plan and their own are quite different. This is definitely a story of faith and the benefits of trusting God’s plan for us.
This book was easy to read, the characters were believable, and the story takes you on an adventure with roaming buffalo, gun fights, trials, a little bit of love, comedy, and more!
