Holiday Gift Guide: My Lil’ Mouse Review and Giveaway
There’s no doubt about it, my daughter has been in love with my computer and laptop ever since I can remember! I know that she’s going to be pretty computer savvy just like her mommy and daddy so I knew I had to start looking for some sort of mouse for her to use.
A month or so ago, I was searching for a trackball mouse for my daughter but was kind of taken aback to see that most were well over $60.00 in price which isn’t incredibly easy on our tight budget. I then discovered a kid friendly mouse created by company My Lil’ Mouse!
I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to review one of these mouses for my daughter in pink!
I love that unlike trackball mouses, these mouses stick closer to the design of a regular adult sized mouse. There was no installation disc to set using it up, which is really nice. Their mouses are compatible with both mac and PC using USB connectivity. There is a textured and Contoured ‘Squeeze’ button for added comfort & control. It’s a great fit for children ages 2-7 since it’s designed to fit Small Hands as it’s only 3 inches long! I think my daughter really likes that the mouse lights up anytime she clicks the mouse button!
If you are looking for online games for children to play, My Lil Mouse has put together a great list on their site! I personally love My Lil’ Mouse and am looking forward to the future colors that they put out. I highly recommend My Lil’ Mouse to anyone that is looking for a device that is easy to use for their children whom are interested in playing great games whether for pure fun or educational purposes on the computer.

My Baby First Steps Wii Review
My Baby First Steps is a follow up from the popular My Baby Boy and My Baby Girl Nintendo DS games. What’s this game about? In so many words, you’ll be able to learn the do’s and don’t in the world of virtual parenting!
Fun Game Features
My Thoughts…
In my opinion, My Baby First Steps on the Wii is a must get for the girl gamers in your life from ages 5-12.This game would be perfect for children who have just found out that they may be getting a new brother or a sister! I think this game would also help children ease into understanding how much care goes into raising a child and as well as teach them responsibility of seeing to babies need! Let’s not forget also that they’ll also learn how much fun a baby can be!
My daughter is only 18 months old, so it was all up to me to share my thoughts on this game. Why I wanted to review it in the first place is because my daughter was wild about a demo video she saw of it. Giggles galore and mimicking of the baby on the screen is the response I got from my daughter. When I was playing this game, my daughter Melody even learned a few new things of her own such as jumping. I can’t wait till I get further into this game, as maybe my daughter will get a few cues from the potty training sessions! So, not only a game but a learning tool.
My Baby First Steps is available for the Nintendo DS and the Wii.

My Thoughts…
I really enjoyed learning what fun ideas Tammy had in making the Holiday a little brighter in her own home as well as sharing inspiring ideas of things we can do with our own families too during the Christmas season in her book The Christmas Kitchen!
I just recently have been learning on how to be a hostess as with what comes with the role of being a life group leader, so this book has been a wonderful resource for me. Ways to go about inviting people and what types of Christmas parties to host from cookie baking to many others. Those little details that sometimes we over look have clearly been pointed out and shared through out the pages of The Christmas Kitchen.
I felt the love of Christ to give to those around you in this book and that’s number one in all aspects for me! I believe this book would make a wonderful gift this Christmas season!
