About the Artist…

Musician and singer Silvia Flemings has a great love of music, as it was a big part of her life growing up. Her mother was a professional singer and her father was an electronics engineer, as well as her mom’s music manager.

Silvia has received a B.A. in Music Education from California State University, Fullerton and during her time their studied classical piano though prefers singing as she feels it comes more natural to her. Favoring music genres such as Big Band tunes, the great American standards, and jazz, you can really hear this influence in her heartfelt music.

My Thoughts…

After listening to Silvia’s  cd “Love for Christmas,” I’m so ready for the rest of the Christmas season to swing in. “Love for Christmas”, holds a lot of meaning to Silvia as she recorded it November 2008 in honor of and continued love for her parents.

This wonderful CD features 11 Christmas songs like Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, In a Lowly Manger Sleeping, and many more classics as well as two original songs written by Silvia’s friends that are sure to get you into the Christmas spirit!

My favorite song is “The Other Side of Christmas” which speaks of the true reason we celebrate Christmas. Not because of Santa Claus but because of the birth of our savior Christ Jesus. This may be one of my new favorite Christmas songs as it speaks such revelations!

Silvia sings so beautifully along side the serene music arrangements. I can definitely visualize her CD playing in the background this holiday season, as I am sharing in the celebration of Christ’s birth with my family. I’d like to personally thank Silvia for being such a blessing through her music.
