I was given the opportunity to review the Beginner Band Set by MELISSA & DOUG which can be found for 24.99 at Eco Time Toys.  This fantastic music set is packaged into it’s very own wooden storage case and offers to a child, a world of wonderful music at their finger tips!

In this great little set, you’ll find a xylophone, a kazoo, castanets, a harmonica and a jingle stick. I must add that I love the painted colors of red, orange blue, yellow, purple, and green added to the instruments in this set, I believe they invoke such whims and wonder! Quite appealing to the eye and another great way to begin teaching your children about colors!

My daughter has been enjoying this set. So far, her favorite instruments are the xylophone and the jingle stick. She’ll sit for quite some time making her own kind of music. Sometimes we will sit and play together and she’ll try to mimic the tunes and beats I make.

This set is recommend for children ages 3 and up and would make a fantastic gift this Holiday season for children that love music or love making noise in general. Note that a portion of all sales at ecoTimeToys.com is donated to various children and earth-friendly charities.
