I hope everyone has enjoyed the photos I’ve put together in today’s post.

We had a fantastic Halloween. Early this morning, we visited our towns local businesses as they were having trick-or-treating from 10am-2pm! I think doing something like this is a fantastic idea for children of all ages. You can stock up more candy early plus you don’t have to take younger children that could get frighted of scary decorations and costumes out during the evening.

Our town also put a Harvest get together at the park which was quite enjoyable. We got to meet two Pygora goats named Philbert and Minnie. Melody was really excited about petting them! There was also Pumpkin decorating, Storytelling by library staff, Garden growing tips, and aFall recipe swap. I know next year we’ll have even more fun at this event because my daughter will be a little older and able to help decorate the pumpkins as well as sit and listen during story time.

My husband and I sipped warm cider as we let our daughter run around freely and have fun on the swings, despite it being a bit wet out.

We did happen to go out trick-or treating this evening  and had a lot of fun. People were quite  generous :) I can’t wait till next year when I know I’m really going to have to keep up my with daughter!

Melody had two actual costumes for Halloween… a puppy costumes and a strawberry one. She was wearing her rain attire over the puppy outfit during the day as it was raining on and off and we wanted to keep her dry.

Can you believe this is the last day of October? I am so ready to break out the Christmas decorations and put the tree up in the living room :)

Need an advertisement?

Lime_face We all know advertising, logos, word press templates, web pages, and other advertising needs can be a bit overwhelming if you are trying to do it all yourself. If you are a business blogger, you may be interested in Prova.fm’s services. They have you and your company in mind.

On the internet, you want to appeal to potential customers and we all know the best way to do that is by having great looking advertisements, logos, and templates that can attract visitors or customers to your website or blog. Trust me when I say it’s best to leave it to the professionals.  In the long run, it will save you a lot of  time and if you are working with Prova.fm lots of money too.

An interesting feature that I want to talk about is that you can launch your own advertisement design contests on their site!  How this works is actually quite simple too.

  • List your contest details
  • Set the price you’re willing to pay the winner
  • View entries and talk to your designers
  • Download your winner
  • Pay your winner (should you find one you like)

It takes about a week for the contest to run and for you to get your design. Prova.fm has a  fantastic group of designers that will enter your contest and also spread the word about your contest .There is a  fee of $34.99 fee for each contest that you decide to create.

I think crowdsourcing is a great take on creating and giving the customers options in finding the right design for their company!

If you request a custom design through Prova.fm before October 31st they’ll give you 1,000 business cards or post cards. Learn  more by following this link.

Deliciaé Gourmet Review and Giveaway (closed)

19442I love cooking all sorts of meals but sometimes I just don’t have the extra  hour or so to spend in my kitchen preparing everything from  appetizers, desserts, main courses, and desserts for every meal prepared through out the week, especially when it never seems like there is enough time in the day to get things done and permitting that my toddler allows it. When children come into the picture your daily schedule completely changes.  This is why I am a huge lover of my slow cooker!

Deliciaé Gourmet is company that I came across that offers delicious, nutritious and
contain no added salt slow cooker dinners and soup meals. Believe it or not, that each of the meals offered on their site can be prepared in no more than five minutes (with the exception of the Southwest Roadhouse Chili which requires browning of the ground meat). Each of the meals serve 8-12 people so if you have a smaller family like mine, you can cook the meal and then freeze half for another meal to eat at another time!

gourmetI was given the opportunity to try out several soups and meals from Deliciaé Gourmet including the  Italian Farm-Style Chicken, New England Clam Chowder, Southern Italian Pasta e Fagioli, and the Big Easy Jambalaya.

I’ve not tried all of these meals out yet but did happen to try out the Southern Italian Pasta e Fagioli in which to prepare I was asked to add chicken, broth, water, tomatoes, and the suggested but optional cup of any white wine other than the cooking type.

I easily added all the required ingredients in the order stated and in maybe three minutes time, turned my crock pot on low for eights hours. By dinner time everything was ready and I was eager to taste it as it made my home smell so good throughout the day! We really enjoyed this meal and would highly recommend these kits to making yummy  meals with ease to everyone!

Deliciaé Gourmet slow cooker soup and meals cost about 5.95- 6.05 each, not including the ingredients you need to add. I couldn’t help but to add how easy these meals would be in a pinch to prepare for company too!

Delicae Gourmet has all sorts of other items besides slow cooker meals and soups.  You can find Jams and Jellies, Coffee Jellies, wine Jellies, Bruschetta toppings, salad dressings and rubs for all sorts of meats.
