Voices of the Faithful Book 2

_140_245_Book.77.coverVoices of the Faithful Book 2

Book Description:

A new year’s worth of inspiring stories from the front lines of faith.

“A willingness to go is all they have in common,” exclaim Beth Moore and Kim P. Davis, speaking of their friends on the front lines who are spreading the gospel around the world and with whom they collaborated to create this book. This second book of 366 daily devotionals features stories of God’s faithfulness, written by hundreds of missionaries worldwide.

From stirring miracles to heroic adventures, this second volume highlights those who daily go to the outer limits of spiritual devotion.

A follow-up to the first book which has now sold over 300,000 copies.

My Thoughts:

This book features daily entries written by missionary serving throughout the world  in their struggles, joys, and inspirations of every day life. When reading through this devotional book, you’ll find numerous sections each month that deal with specific topics such as the “Lesson’s From The Young” which is the section for the month of  September and it’s one of my favorite throughout the whole book.

Each of the stories you’ll find have specific title, an entry, of which is then followed by a daily prayer. This is just enough to get you going through out your day. I found myself, after reading one of the entries for September ( the 12th) pondering it, and taking the verse mentioned as well as the life lesson to heart ( may we all be bold! Mathew 18:3-4)).

I think this book would make a great devotional for someone in the mission field or someone that may be considering it.  Kim Davis and Beth Moore have done an excellent job! Five stars!
