My Thoughts:

I would have loved nothing more that to sit and read this book all the way through at one sitting but alas that was not the case at hand!

Menu for Romance is the first book that I’ve read by author Kaye Dacus and it won’t be my last. This book is the second in the Brides of Bonneterre Series but does an exceptional job of standing alone with no need of going back and reading the book prior. Though, I will  say that you’ll probably want too after getting to know characters in this wonderful story.
I appreciate that this book was modestly written not filled with cussing or sex. The characters were real in struggling with problems that most people deal with on a daily basis. I loved that the characters weren’t perfect and how their prayers weren’t exactly answered like they had hoped for.

God works in mysterious ways, and the surprising twist and turns in this book illustrate that. I highly recommend this book if your looking for a heart warming yet real tale of love and romance from a  christian perspective.
