How was everyone elses Mother’s Day? I had a nice Mother’s Day! On Saturday, My husband took me to see Celtic Woman. I thoroughly enjoyed getting out and seeing a show, I was lost in Ireland for awhile carried away by voices of such blessed ladies.
We woke early on Sunday and went to church. As you can imagine with everyone’s mother’s day lunch plans, church was fuller than usual first service. This prompted the nursery workers to move my daughter to the older children toddler room. I was not entirely thrilled with this as no one had asked me first. I probably would have made a slight fuss if my sister-in-law was not in there. I was also informed that they fed her all of her snacks in the diaper bag plus. No wonder she was so full and would not eat her lunch. This is issue is going to talked about though. Number one, I have no idea what kind of snacks they were feeding her. I was informed that she was almost fed raisins. Those are a no no for babies,…choking hazard. I mean she only has four teeth. So this is rather upsetting but will be taken care of.
Early afternoon, I visited with a friend of mine at the park so as to take advantage of the nice dry weather. It was a bit muggy out but nowhere as muggy as the conditions when I lived down south. We still had fun despite the fact.
Afterward, we headed to the nursing home to visit my husband grandma. She enjoyed seeing us. My daughter was a bit grumpy but she was tired and she’s got two teething coming in, one on top and one on the bottom so she has a right to be a bit grumpy. From their visited with my husbands family for a few hours and then headed home. I was bushed! Over all a good but busy day.
Though I was not able to spend my Mother’s Day with my mom, I sent her a photo greeting card, $25.00 GC to Christian Book , and nice phone call I wouldn’t be who I am with out her. Love you mom! … You’re a remarkable woman with a great amount of patience and a love for the Lord like no other I’ve seen or met.
“Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.” Proverbs 31: 30
“May she who gave you birth be happy.” Proverbs 23:25
Can you say fun, fashionable, and funky footwear? Oh course you can, but are you bold enough to wear it? I am and I’m glad that I can thanks to Ozone socks. I’m now making an overall fashion statement from head to toe…literally!
I was able to review the Patch Fabric in prune, Walking on Roses in Orange, and the Mixed up Argyle in Bordeaux. These socks are so fashionable, colorful with a bit of wildness to them! My 11 month old loves them. She comes over and pokes my feet, slaps them, and laughs. It’s such a sight to see. Maybe she thinks I’m silly or a bit crazy? …the honest truth is I’m both.
I like Ozone socks, if you knew me well, you’d say they suited me perfectly. Comfort is key, and I’ve worn socks that either come down, are too thin, and ones that make my feet too warm and sweaty! Nobody ever wants that in a pair of socks. But these socks, they stay put, are the perfect amount of thickness, and have not made my feet sweat in the least bit! Can we say winner?
Goodbye basic black and white and hello personality! The variety of styles and colors, I’m sure you’ll find more than enough pairs to match your personality like a glove…err sock? I’m glad that Ozone is revolutionizing the fashion world for our feet! Somebody has to do it well and that they have with their huge line of designer fashion socks, knee-highs and tights for men, woman, and children alike.

My daughters comfort is always first when it comes to picking out shoes. She started walking at nine months old and now she’s pretty close to full on running. So you can see how important it is for me as her mother to try to find the right kind of shoe with her roaming all over the place. As with picking out any shoes, I’m willing to sacrifice style and good looks for shoes that won’t be hurting or putting any strain my daughter’s feet. It was nice to find out that with the shoes from See Kai Run, Smaller, or the Eleven line, I don’t have to sacrifice a thing…style included!
I was able to review the Dorothy sandals from See Kai Run line for my daughter Melody. I love these shoes! They are quite the distinctive black sandal with adorable little white polka dots fashioned in a fun wave with a white lined trim! Fashion set aside, these shoes are Handcrafted from butter-soft sheepskin leather, with a Flexible rubber sole – healthy for developing feet but sturdy enough for outdoor play, Generous width and wide toe box for plenty of wiggle room, Padded collars for extra comfort, Adjustable Velcro closures make theses shoes easy to get on and ensure a great fit, and breathable leather insole and lining! What more could you possibly ask for in a shoe? …and the answer is you can’t! These shoes meet the American Podiatric Medical Association’s rigorous standards for foot health and functionality! Yes that’s right, See Kai Run has been awarded the APMA’s prestigious Seal of Acceptance.
See Kai Run offers a wide range of sizes, smaller 0-18 mo, see kai run for kids 6-3 years, and now eleven for ages 3-8 years! It won’t be hard to purchase any pair of these shoes as I can shop in confidence knowing I’m making the best choice, but it will be hard in choosing which pair of shoes to buy. The wide variety of colors and styles make is slightly difficult but that means they certainly have something for everyone!
I support companies that are giving back one hundred percent! It’s important in trying to reach others in what you do and See Kai Run is doing just that. They have a promotion that goes on a few times a year where every pair of shoes that is purchased, another pair is donated to Soles4soles. This is an organization that delivers shoes to children, and adults who are in need. In June 2008, “Share a Pair” donation matching event took place and See Kai Run donated over 8000 pairs of shoes to Soles4Souls and the World Association for Children and Parents. In November/December 2008 during another “Share a Pair” matching event, See Kai Run donated over 9700 pairs toSoles4Souls.
I encourage you to check out these wonderful shoes and while you are there, be sure to sign up for their mailing list. You can find the mailing list on the bottom of their page. Trust me, you don’t want to miss out on the great promotions that they have going on throughout the year!
