Are you looking into planning your family summer vacation for this year? I know with the way things are in the economy some of us cut out our vacations altogether due to money issues. I want to let you know that there are still some steals and deals out there and if you were thinking about a vacation in Florida that you should reconsider scratching out those plans and defiantly check out what Kissimmee has to offer.

A vacation doesn’t have to be huge money pit. In Kissimmee, Florida there are lots of free, fun, and enjoyable things for the whole family to do. To name a few things to do, there’s Old Town, a great place to stroll through during the day or night to nab something to eat, to see some of the wonderful cars for the buff in your family among other things.

If I went to Kissimmee, I would most defiantly want to check out Kissimmee Lakefront Park along with the wonderful nature reserves that I’ve been reading up about. I love being outdoors sight seeing the beauty of nature while also photographing while hiking. I read that Lake Lizzie Nature Preserve has nesting eagles and endangered Whooping cranes. I’m sure my mom and mother in law would also love to visit the nature reserves too as they are both very talented photographers.

I know with all the money you’ll be saving by doing free things there, it would be quite easy to pull together and do something carefree like visit a water park with the kids, let Dad sneak off for a game of golf on their gorgeous greens, and I know it’d be nice for all of us mom’s to enjoy ourselves at the Canyon Ranch Spa Club!

So now that you know that there are a lot of great things to do in Kissimmee, you should start planning your vacation. And luckily Kissimmee is giving away three weekend getaways for 3 days/2 nights for two; and two week long vacations for four. My daughter turned ten months old last Friday and with that turning point, the separation anxiety has begun.  Any time I leave the room or I’m not in my daughter’s line of site at a familiar or new place she starts crying in some sense almost to hysterics.  I’ve read that it’s because during 9-10 months object permanence comes into play. So I know this move in two weeks times is probably not going to be incredibly easy.  We were shopping at the mall in a store and her daddy had her but even he couldn’t make her happy.  It goes to show how strong the bond is between my daughter and I and how I can’t let this wear or tire me out, which it so easily could do.

I’m getting a laptop soon, at least shopping around for one so it’ll be easier to still be able to work without having to leave my daughter to play in a separate room alone.  I know this move is going to throw her off, I just don’t know how much or to what extent. I’m not even going to push to weaning her yet due to everything. We are going to just take things one day at a time.
