My sister Kristinia had her daughter on Tuesday! Helana’s stats are 7lbs 6 ounces 19 inches long! That’s pretty much a perfect size for a baby! I can’t wait to get more pictures of my first niece…this is the only one I have right now!

My family is all about going green! By doing so, we can help improve the environment we live in… hey, it’s the only one we have so we should be caring about it! What else can we benefit from by going green? Well, it not only help saves the environment, but it also helps us save money by using energy saving light bulbs for one thing.

While browsing through the Fresh and Green site, I came across an Indoor Gardening Kit Made From Recycled Milk Jugs! What a great way this is to teach your kids by growing their own food a.k.a Going Local and using a product that has already been recycled from something else. When I start homeschooling my daughter I hope to teach her the importance of Going Green and taking care of the environment around her.  I hope all my kids are green kids.
