Ah.. days when family visits or we visit them, Melody gets so thrown off her schedule. I only hope it doesn’t take to long to get back into the swing of things. She didn’t want to go to bed last night at her usual time so Melody and I ended up on the couch all night. I got maybe 2-3 hours of sleep. Sometimes, I wonder how I can live off that much sleep! I know on Sunday little Melody was enjoying visiting with everyone but I know it wore her out alot… Imagine people picking us up and tossing us from person to person and then being in a whole new place too… that’s gotta be in the least bit overwhelming to anybody!
I’m washing laundry today… I put art to the side just for today… somehow staring at the computer screen with little sleep didn’t seem at all appealing to me. I’ve been working on Fall/Halloween designs for my Zazzle store. Yesterday, I created a sweet little spider and tomorrow I plan on working on cute little ghost!
This evening I plan on going to the Clothing/Toy Swap at our church. Melody will be needing 3-6 months to 6-9 months clothes. I hope to snag some nice and warm things… I wonder how much girl stuff there will be since I know there’s a lot of boy babies in the church. I’ll be sure to blog about it tomorrow.

Okay, the only reason I headed to the mall today was for one specific thing and then I find out when I get there they only carry it online! So much for trying to save money in the shipping department!I did happen to get two over jackets to wear over my dresses when it’s cooler though. I still haven’t quite gotten used to all the rain and cool weather being from Georgia and all. I’m looking forward to the fall weather though as it’s pretty hot lately and without full AC it’s been rather uncomfortable…especially in the computer/office room where I tend to get most of work done!
I need to get someone to take better pictures of me and my daughter together… the picture above was taken by me… but it took several attempts to get us both in the picture… lol … My husbands friend should be doing a photo shoot of our daughter pretty soon. I can’t wait to get it scheduled.
I’m wondering why my husbands ear is bleeding. He hasn’t stuck anything in there at all. I am pondering if it’s the fact that’s he listens to his ipod all day at work… and maybe that it’s up to loud and possibly damaging his ear drums. Despite the fact he got hired the health insurance doens’t kick in for a month. Pray this problem resolves itself or something…. I do know bleeding out the ear can’t be good for you!

TGIF? It’s been a good week and I am very much pleased with that. I got a bit of art done, I upgraded my wardrobe ( it was much needed), I’ve been getting together baby things to swap at church, my husband got hired at his job… all in all a good week.
I’ll probably blog more later to let you know how my day goes but I wanted to get that little tidbit in before Melody wakes up this morning.
