The Legend of the Sand Dollar {Book Review}

* As a Z BLOG SQUAD member, I received a copy of “The Legend of the Sand Dollar” for free as a member of Zondervan’s Z BLOG SQUAD *

My nearly nine-year-old daughter picked up this book as soon as she saw it.  The Legend of the Sand Dollar, An Inspirational Story Of Hope For Easter my daughter told me is at the top of her list for a book to read during the Easter Season. She says all families should read it and that she gives it two thumbs way up.   This offering By Chris Auer, Richard Cowdrey is a classic remake i.e newly illustrated but I’d never read or seen either before just recently!

Lots of Knock-Knock Jokes for Kids by Whee Winn {Review}


It doesn’t surprise me in the least bit that both my five year old son and my seven and half year old daughter adore Lots of Knock-Knock Jokes for Kids by Whee Winn. When I was around 7-8 years old, I would often be found checking out jokes books from the local library and choosing them to be in my lot of of books from the monthly book club my Mom ordered from. It’s fun to giggle and laugh but it’s even better if you can make someone else do so too!

NIV, Beautiful Word Bible Review

The NIV, Beautiful Word Bible, Hardcover in hardcover is beautiful. It features 500 full-color scripture verses crafted into creatively eye catching and inspirational word art throughout. The art usually is layed out on the side of each page but some of the art spans over two pages. There is an blank space with pre-formatted lines that you can capture your own thoughts of what you are reading in word, art, etc. I like this space was included so that the Bible is used as a reminder and jumping point of to what the Lord was speaking to my heart at the given time.
