The Berenstain Bears 5-Minute Inspirational Stories: Read-Along Classics collection of 12 stories is perfect for children four through eight years old. Life lessons such as loving one another, showing mercy, being a good friend, the importance of prayer, and reminders of God’s grace and love are all prevalent in this book. Long time of fans of the series will be happy to share with little ones as I know I have been. This book is a good pick for reading alone or together during any time of the day.

I must say I’m growing to really like the trend of the scripture verse, hymns, and religious song books that have hit the market for children. Zonderkidz gave me the opportunity to review and share about Jesus Loves Me (A Sing-Along Book) by Gynux.
We adore the Berenstain Bears in my home. I enjoyed these stories growing up and am pleased that more are being written and released so my own kids can enjoy them too. We recently have been reading and enjoying every minute of the Berenstain Bears Living Lights treasury called Friendship Blessings Collection. This book is a fantastic collection of five books in 1!
The Beginner’s Bible for Little Ones is perfect for children ages 2-4 years old. However, you can read it to children that are younger or have older children read it as well. There are eight stories taken from both the Old and New Testament of the Bible which includes; The Beginning, Noah’s Ark, The Mean Giant, Daniel and the Lions, An Angel Visits Mary, Baby Jesus is Born, Jesus Feeds Thousands, and Jesus is Alive. The stories are in a simplified format that younger children can understand before learning all the details and information about each to take to heart as they get older.

Easter is only a few more weeks away. What a fun season this can be for children full of egg hunts, treats, and the return of warmer weather. I remember getting Easter gifts as a child and have continued the tradition for my own children. Trinkets of toys are fun to receive but they don’t last quite a long. I tend to choose gifts like seeds for planting or things that they need or can pass on when they are through with them. We are on a mission to free clutter from our lives so I can be a bit picky about what enters our homes.
