Hello Kitty, Hello Spring! and Hello Summer! are a couple of the latest titles set to be released by Abrams books this March! These colorful 14 page hardcover books are loved by both my children ages 4 1/2 and 2, though the books totally keep the attention of my younger one the most.
In Hello Kitty, Hello Spring!, readers are greeted by Hello Kitty surrounded by beautiful spring flowers( no doubt brought on from the April rains). Each of the pages feature Hello Kitty and her friends in a different Spring time scenes enjoying everything wonderful that comes with the season saying Hello to the following things: flowers, butterflies, baseball, picnics and visits at the park, rainy day puddle fun, and flying high those very colorful and unique types of kites!
My two year old loves looking at the pages in the book. The pages are all so colorful and very appealing to children! I sometimes read the book through once and then we go through a second time and talk about what we see happening in the pictures whether it’s about the activity or the colors of the surrounding insects, flowers, and much more. I highly recommend this book as it’s perfect to welcome in the upcoming spring season!
In Hello Kitty, Hello Summer!, readers will enjoy original illustrations of Hello Kitty and her friends having fun in the sun with a small bit of text added to each scene page spread. In this book Hello Kitty visits the beach, enjoys a bike ride, has an ice cream party with friends, sails a boat at sea, plays a bit of tennis, and more! Most things if not everything to love about Summer is covered in this fun colorful title. My kids totally love the page spread of Hello Kitty and her friends having an ice cream party and decided that we need do that as well as soon as the season arrives.
These titles are the first two of four in the newest series of Hello Kitty collectible board books. After seeing how much my kids enjoyed these, I’m pretty excited to get a hold of Hello Autumn and Hello Winter when they comes out! And with Spring and Summer right around the corner, these would make a great gift to the littles ones in your life! Think Easter bag surprises too!

I’m excited to let you know that just recently MommyParties and Oral-B gave me the opportunity to share some fantastic products with my own family, extended family, and other moms that I know with younger children through a Winnie the Pooh DVD viewing party for the kids.
I was thrilled to be picked as a host. I am all about spreading the news about products that can benefit needs in our day to day life. The products that I was sent that every mom was able to take home and keep for their kids in my pre-made gift party bags included Oral-B stage 1&2 brushes, Oral-B Toothpaste ( themed for both girls and boys), Disney Lavender body wash, an information pamphlet all about Oral-B Stages products, and very much appreciated coupons!
My own daughter which is three years old was pretty excited and couldn’t wait to brush her teeth with her new tooth paste! I heard the same from the other mothers as well following up after our celebration! It really helps that Oral-B teamed up with Disney to feature well loved characters kids have grown to love.
My son is 11 months old and we’ve been getting him into the routine of brushing his teeth. He’s got six teeth currently with two more on the way! I honestly can’t believe he got so many teeth so quickly! No worries though, Oral-B makes choosing the right dental hygiene products for me and other mothers so easy with their Stages products.
Oral-B currently has three stages. The first is for 4-24 month old babies. These brushes have non-slip handles, help protect tender gums, fits babies’ small mouths, and makes brushing fun with Disney Baby characters. I’m pleased to say my son is getting pretty good holding and brushing the toothbrush all on his own pretty well! The second stage of products are for 2-4 year olds and the third for 5-7 year old children. Each stage is a little different than the previous completely covering everything needed as children grow older.
A lot of information was given out in my party bags but I also wanted to point out that there’s a really handy guide about dental care on the Oral-B website for anyone else interested in the Oral-B products if you already aren’t a fan!
Overall I got a fantastic response from both the kids and their parents about the great products by Oral-B. And with all the great benefits, it’s no wonder that Oral-B is #1 dentist recommended toothbrush brand for kids.

Having recently written my thoughts on the Soft Peek-A-Boo Blocks baby toy, I’d now like to introduce you to yet another fun toy from the Bkids called the Stack ‘n Link Pal.
This ring stacking toy is incredibly cute topped off with a clever monkey friend! It’s four brightly colored rings are very stimulating for babies. And the rings themselves have different textures and images that babies can explore.
A great feature that I’ve not seen in a stacker before is the fact that the rings can not only be stacked on top of each other but they can also easily be linked together on the small opened section included on each ring! I love toys that challenge children in more than one way. This makes the playability factor quite high!
This toy is all hands on and completely enhances gross motor skills, babies can learn colors, explore textures, notice differences in sizes, learn how to link things together, and bat the toy itself back and forth by the base.
My 10 month old baby boy hasn’t learned how to link the rings together yet but he sure likes to shake them to make a clanging sound when they are. He’s getting better at stacking and this toy has been a wonderful aid in learning for him.
The Stack ‘n Link Pal itself is made out of a harder plastic so this toy doesn’t make for the best teether. And on occasion I found the the the middle piece and the base easily came apart during play. This makes for easy for cleaning but maybe not so much fun for a child that’s a little rough on things. And in all truthfulness my son goes for the Soft Peek-A-Boo Blocks a lot more often that this toy. Maybe he’ll like it more in a few months and maybe it’s just personal preference but both my kids are hugely into their blocks! I just wanted to put that out there.
If you are still doing your Holiday shopping for the children in your life I encourage you to check out the BKids website and look at all the other great toys that are offered.
