The Lord’s Prayer: Words of Hope and Happiness by Rick Warren is a wonderful book for children. I learned the prayer this title features when I was 4-5 years old and it has stuck with me ever since. I feel this book would be a great choice if you are wanting a child in your life to also learn this prayer. It list more than the verses but also the author adds a comment or two on what each verse means in a way a child can understand.
The NIrV Love Letters from God Holy Bible, Hardcover is a good choice for children ages eight and up. This Bible features an easy to understand translation (written specifically for third grade reading level) that won’t frustrate kids. In keeping with the Love Letters line, this Bible gives readers prompts to help children connect to God in the form of writing. The letters are an adaption of God’s words and feeling towards us.
