One Christmas Bear By Anne Vittur Kennedy spurs one to count the many blessings that arise at this time of year. Taking place outside in the snow-covered lands of the artic,  toddlers and preschoolers will be introduced to a playful polar bear and his many friends and neighbors. The story takes us through all the fun festivities and adventures that take place in the span of the morning to evening hours with the bear.

No matter how big or seemingly small or silly to some the fright could be, children will rest easier knowing God hears and knows. A  reassurance from this story about their great God will bring comfort to their mind and heart.

Jesus Always 365 Devotions for Kids {Review and Giveaway}

Jesus Always 365 Devotions for Kids by Sarah Young is geared toward boys and girls ages 8-12 years old. This devotion is different than most as it is written in a way as if God is speaking to the reader directly. The author explains her writing style and sticking as close to scripture as possible. So instead of the common use of He, words are used such as I, Me, My, and Mine as Jesus. When speaking to the reader the word you and your are used.  It’s very personal and it’s one of my favorite writing styles.

God Loves Daddy and Me {Board Book Review}

God Loves Daddy and Me by Bonnie Rickner Jensen and illustrated by Laura Watkins is an adorable board book that highlights the bond and the love a father and child share together.

This bond between a father and child is demonstrated in a number of ways on each page. There are scenes of the pair paddling a boat on a lake, building pillow and blanket forts,  walking & talking outdoors, helping each other during the  chore or raking leaves,  playing hide-and-seek amongst the branches, roasting a marshmallow over a fire on the beach in the evening,  saying prayers together at bedtime, forgiving when something goes wrong and tucking in the little one in at bedtime.
