The Guess How Much I Love you series by best selling author Sam McBratney have been some of my favorite books to read to both my children! What’s exciting is that my kids can now enjoy the book series inspired animated adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare on DVD which has part of the Disney Junior line up! I don’t know about you, but I find something magical about seeing my favorite storybook characters come to life on screen and this feature doesn’t dissapoint!

The Horses of McBride is heartfelt uplifting movie based a true story. If you love the type of movies found through Hallmark, you’ll no doubt want to watch this one this Christmas season. The movie is completely family friendly. It’s a great flick that displays overcoming even though all odds completely seem set against you. There’s a great family and community dynamic played out. Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band recently released “ Lishy Lou and Lucky Too” during the month of October. This album is the famed husband and wife team second release this year. It’s no surprise to me how awesome it is and my kids agree with that fact completely too! I’m in fact waiting to hear see how many awards they’ll win for it.
This album has a fun creative way about it. From the very first track to very last the CD plays through like an old-style radio hour show. How fun and clever is that? My kids both literally stopped what they were doing and paid full attention till it was over! I don’t often see their attention dragged completely away so when it was by such high quality family geared entertainment, I became quite thrilled. Read the rest of this entry »
