DK’s Baby Touch and Feel: I Love You {Board Book Review}

Baby Touch and Feel: I Love You is a sweet board book to read to baby not just during the month of February but year round. My 9-month-old daughter shows delight when I pull this book out to read to her. She becomes fully engaged by the pictures and the interesting textures for her to touch and feel.

I like the fact the books features photo images without. I believe it helps my baby make real life connections easier. In the book, there are bunnies, teddy bears, people. puppies, kittens, stuffed animals friends, and mirror page for baby to see themselves. The textures are many and included the feel of a basket, soft fluffy fur, a warm sweater, and so forth.  Some of the things to touch sparkle and shine catching babies interest further.

Eyes to see, ears to hear, a mouth to laugh, a nose to smell, knees for climbing, fingers to touch, children will learn about their senses too!

Tiny Traveler board book series: Japan and Italy

The Tiny Traveler by Misti Kenison is a series of books created with children ages 0-3 years old in mind. This series takes the basic concepts of nature and numbers and ties those in with world travel! It’s a clever way to introduce children to countries and their cultures. It’s a great series to get a jump start on Geography! Even though this series is meant for younger children, my five year old son enjoys looking and learning through these books about far off places that we dream of one day visiting.
