Isn’t she the sweetest little kid dressed up like bunny that you’ve ever seen? I certainly think so and I won a Today’s Best Award on her from Zazzle too! Yay! I am hoping some of my cards/mugs start selling soon for Valentine’s day so my design can spread love world wide!
I also sumbited a few more baby/children designs as you can see from the mug on the left, which also won a Today’s best on Zazzle. Now I have to come up with a catchy phrase for little boy designs. Safety pins in every pastel common baby theme color was also summited to be put onto onesies by yours truly.
I was reading the Zazzle blog today and they were introducing those of us in the community to Zigg. The site reminds me of DIGG. It has were you can submit designs and what not and people can discuss and vote on them. Yay for more publicity. It’ll be fun to see what all comes from that since it looks to be fairly new.
I had a pretty nice weekend!
Today Melody’s pack in play Calista crib arrived through the UPS! I was so happy to get it that I couldn’t stand keeping in the box for a few more months so I got Justin to put it up that night. I helped a little bit by putting the mobile with the little white teddy bears on it together. It fit nicely beside my computer table in front of the window so she’ll get plenty of sunlight during the day while I am working on new designs and things on my computer and it’s in a nice enough spot that at night I can pull the crib over next to me by the bed so she won’t be so far away for more my security than hers probably. I know it’ll be odd to not have her so close to me after I give birth so for my own piece of mind, I want to keep her close. What can I say I’m a slightly protective mommy already… guess it comes with the territory.
What else happened on Friday? I created two new text based typography Valentine designs to put on Zazzle products. Justin got the job he was set out to get! \o/ Now pray that in three months that they hire him so he won’t be a temp anymore and we can have better insurance health wise for us and the baby.
Justin didn’t have to work on Saturday so we went out and had lunch at Uwajimaya for my birthday ( we also went there last year on my birthday). I had ginger pork and the safe sushi for Pregnant ladies…it was very yummy! We also bought some furikake, old man’s beard ( lol… a nickname for a certain seaweed my sisters and I made up), regular sushi, and Asian noodles. Yum! Totoro grew because now the Asain bookstore located in the grocery store has super sized Totoro’s lol.
Justin and I watched Transformers this evening… it wasn’t a bad movie… did have some questionable content that wasn’t needed though… hence the PG 13 rating.
Sunday ( My 23rd Birthday)
Tis the day when one turns another year older and it was my day for gaining another year. Hopefully another year wiser and more mature in Christ! Justin made me a nice breakfast of dough nuts, grits, sausage, and corn beef hash ( my favorite!). During breakfast he surprised me with not one but two white gold necklaces that he had been hiding away for over a month! I honestly had no idea that he got me anything so he really surprised me with that 🙂 One of the necklaces has a butterfly and the other an eagle. I like them both very much. After breakfast we headed to church and several people wished me a happy birthday 🙂 The message was good … it was about guarding your eyes from darkness. For lunch we headed to Pizza Hut to have lunch with Mom and Dad Lowmaster and Auntie Megan (their treat). We had Hawaiian pizza and a sausage, tomato, mushroom pizza… 🙂 Shortly after lunch we headed back to their house and I opened gifts, had a yummy cake, and we played a game ( Justin and I won).
After the game we headed to Bible study and weren’t late \o/ lol… They surprised me with gifts and a yummy carrot cake 🙂
It was a good birthday and also the Bible Study was good, I got a lot out of it. I missed my family in Georgia yes… but I know they were thinking of me and it made it okay.
