Posh Pads {review + giveaway}

I consider myself a pretty eco-friendly conscious person. I use eco-friendly products of all kinds such as house cleaning  and beauty products for my household. I try not to waste anything at all if I can help it. I have even have on hand re-usable nursing pads for when I’m breastfeeding my babies. And speaking of, I recently came across a brand of nursing pads which I’ve fallen completely in love with called Posh Pads.

Robyn and Jessica are the moms, owners, and designers behind Posh Pads. Their goal is to make breastfeeding more comfortable and acceptable for all nursing mothers! They offer the the cutest nursing pads made with extremely fashionable materials and only the best bamboo velour & organic cotton.

I was sent a set of bamboo Posh Pads to review in the pink polka dot pattern. I must say that if you go with bamboo, you’ll want to use no other thing but!

My Posh Pads were packaged in their own little mesh bag for future washing. I must state that the convenience of this is awesome because I’ve purchased other types of nursing pads this year and they just came as is.  After washing, I’ve been wearing these pads a lot because they are super comfortable and very absorbent which is surprising to me after seeing how thin they are! I like the thinness compared to disposables because they won’t show up bulky like under my shirt and yet because they are bamboo do a great job of keeping me dry.

The pros out weigh the cons with going with reusable pads compared to disposables! You’ll be helping the environment and saving money! Plus you get to have you own little secret fashion just between you and baby going on!

My Baby Clothes Boutique {Giveaway + Review}

Have a special event such as a family photo shoot coming up? How about that upcoming wedding, birthday party, or any other well known holiday that you’d prefer your child dressed up nicely at? If you are not sure where to look for decently priced fashionable high quality apparel for these special occasions you should look no further than My Baby Clothes Boutique.

I quite enjoyed browsing the boutique and welcomed how easy navigation really was on their site! I was able to search by gender, type of baby clothes, child size (0-4t), accessories such as baby headbands & hats, shoes, sweet little tutus and pettiskirts, and much more. And if you are needing any help they offer a live online help chat or call their toll free number.

I was able to have my pick of anything in their store under twenty five dollars. I chose to review the Floral Halter Dress in size 3t for the upcoming Easter holiday though it can be worn for more than just that day. I have to say that this dress fits my daughter perfectly! I was a little worried it might not fit because she’s pretty petite like me but it fits so well! I even bet she’ll be able to wear this dress next year too.

I like that the Floral Halter dress is fully lined underneath making it thick but not too heavy.  Some dresses that are white in color and have the tendency to be see-thru but that’s not the case at all with this one. The orange in this dress is actual a soft peach. The leaves sparkle and the large orange bow is the perfect accent! I also love the added ruffles around the neckline that add extra femininity. Overall this is a very lovely dress that I am sure anyone would really be taken with.

My hat is off to My Baby Clothes Boutique for having a “We Also Reccomend” section on each product page. For instance on the product page of the dress I’m reviewing they suggested two different pairs of matching sandals, and a very sweet headband! I just love the extra mile this company is going to help you find the perfect outfit for your children!

Overall, I will definitely be checking My Baby Clothes Boutique again!

Seventh Generation Free and Clear Baby Diapers {review}

I exclusively cloth diaper my baby but when we are out and about, I choose to go with disposables. Disposable are so much easier on the go and I’m sure that  most nursery works and family and friends aren’t real fans of having to change cloth.

Being a fan of the Seventh Generation line of cleaning products (they were only ones that didn’t make me throw up during my pregnancy!) and being eco-friendly minded, I figured I would give these diapers a try and am to this date very happy with that decision and I’m going to tell you why!

I’m a real fan of Seventh Generation diapers because they are great for the environment, there are no fragrances, no toxic chemicals, and no design branding or bleaching! These diapers are brown in color and I’m liking the natural look quite a bit compared to others that have cartoon characters on them!

I found these diapers very true to size. My baby boy is 13lbs and these size 2 diapers fit well. I’ve had no problem with leaks, or rashes, and find it very easy to take the diaper off and put it on. Some diapers I’ve used in the past I found that the tab was very hard to pull off and tinker with…not good for those middle of the night diaper changes.

Overall Seventh Generation has a great line of diapers! They may seem a bit expensive for some but the discount with the Amazon Mom subscription makes up for the increased cost. These are great for babies and for the earth!
