I discovered a wonderful line of children’s clothes created by a company called Happy Green Bee! The clothes that they offer are stylish, colorful, cute, and made from 100% organic cotton! I love the bright vibrant colors and the bold stripes a lot personally because I am not incredibly fond of all the pastels that they sell for babies in most retail stores.
Happy Green Bee has a simple philosophy: clothing that is comfortable, colorful, playful and ecologically responsible. Shouldn’t all of our children’s clothes be like that?
I was able to review the comfy cozy organic cotton tights in the watermelon/ sky pattern for my daughter and I must say that I am very happy with them! My daughter is naturally cold natured like her mom, and so I’m always trying to find ways to keep her warm without over dressing her to where she can’t move around very well. I don’t like having to go through several layers of clothes either to change a diaper either!
These tights have done the job and have been through a lot as you can see from my pictures. My daughter crawled, walked, and rolled all over the place in these tights and I can let you know that these are extremely sustainable unlike some that I’ve had her wear before that ripped and snagged only after a few wearings. They are also very soft too so I imagine that my little one loves them just as much as me!
Happy Green Bee is not just for babies as their sizes are newborn all the way up to four years old. I love the variety to choose from as they have swimsuits, hats, socks, tops and bottoms. They also have adorable blankets and cute dolls that wear outfits to match those on their site! I encourage to check out their line, you won’t be disappointed!
HD programming is growing ever so popular in this day and age and Charter Communications is doing it’s best to try to meet that demand by offering customers who already order services at Charter.com a chance to win a 22” flat screen HDTV every day throughout this month!
The sweepstakes they having going on right now is pretty awesome! They are trying to make a day to day necessity for us fun by offering sweepstakes to win an a HUGE grand prize package that includes a 52” LCD flat screen HDTV, a Home Theater System, and one year of free Charter Digital Cable® service with HD programming. Who wouldn’t want to try for a chance to win that? I think it would make a really nice Father’s Day present, if you ask me.
Charter has some good deals when it comes to bundling things like cable, internet, and phone. It’s the way to go and it’s easier to keep up with so you pay your bills for those things at one place instead of several. Again, if you re a current or a brand new customer and you order Cable, High Speed internet or Telephone online at Charter.com throughout April, you will be automatically entered upon installation to win in the sweepstakes. If you are needing a little more information, you can visit their Charter website.
I don’t know if you heard, but last year Charter gave away laptops and Xbox 360 game systems and a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid! I don’t know about you but I would have been happy with the laptop and my husband would have loved the X-box and the car…well, who couldn’t use that?
For all you tweeters out there, you can also follow Charter at Twitter (@chartercom)! They want are keeping hip with the rest of us so they are looking for new ways to reach out to their customers and create better customer service with their products!
I was given the opportunity to review the Wupzey High chair food catcher in cranberry red. This product was created and designed to catch all the food, utensils, or even the sippy cups that escapes your child’s grasps! I have a little one that now eats a lot of finger foods so I was thrilled at the opportunity.
The Wupzey High chair food catcher basically is a piece of nylon materiel that can be attached to any highchair with a foot rest. It’s made of “rip stop nylon” material that’s lightweight, durable, and can be easily cleaned either in the sink or in the washing machine. It’s also suited typically best for children ages 5-18 months.
I have one of those high chairs that to attaches to my dining room chairs so the Wupzey, I take didn’t properly fit and work for me. I tried but it just wasn’t getting the catch it needed. That doesn’t mean it won’t work for you though since it works great for any highchair that has a foot rest.
For just under $18 ($14.95 + $2.50 shipping) and available in 10 colors so you can match your high chair or kitchen theme, you can’t go wrong with a Wupzey and really you have nothing to loose ( no pun intended). Also, if you want to use this let’s say at Grandma’s house, they’ll send you an extra set of Velcro absolutely free!
Wupzey also designs bibs and shopping/diner seat covers. These are made of the same nylon material that the Wupzey food catcher is made of which makes the bibs and covers quick and easy to clean. I love their products because they reduce work, and save precious time and energy. You can buy the Wupzey line of products from a variety of places like Sears.com, Babies”R”Us, or directly from their website.

I’m all about cancer awareness and supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation. Several people in my family have been affected greatly due to this disease and I feel a a strong urge to show my support. I found out this week that there is a pretty easy way to donate to the Breast Cancer Foundation through simply donating by participating in walks. I learned that Bumble Bee Foods is one of many generous companies that participates in walks.
From April 1st to October 31st of 2009 You can; Log the miles you walk or run in one day on BeeWell Miles.com. Bumble Bee Foods will donate $0.15/mile for every mile logged at BeeWell Miles.com (up to $200,000) to help Breast Cancer Network of Strength provide emotional support to those who can’t wait for tomorrow’s cure.
I know my husbands work place has runs supporting the local children hospital and I know there has got to be these runs in Portland, Oregon since it’s a very big city quite close to me. I’m going to check it out and take the whole family to participate when it comes around again.
My husband and I have been working on getting fit this year so we plan on walking at least five miles a week which is easy for us to do with the route I planned out on their site. If we walk 2.5 miles a day for 2 days a week, that would be 5 miles a week which equals a donation of $1.50 a week and $6.00 a month! This would be helping to save lives and establishing our own healthy life style! I may even bump that millage a week up higher as we start establishing the pattern. You can even invite your friends and have them log their miles too!
BeeWell Miles website is wonderful as it gives you all the resources you need to make the most of it. Interact with healthy living experts, log your miles and discover the calories you burn! You can make this your site for weight loss and keeping fit. It is also interactive where you can share fitness stories and also diet stories. Interact with other guests and share ideas and tips on getting healthy. I don’t know about you but this really motivates me to get going.
An added bonus is that each day you log miles or game codes from pink Bumble Bee cans you could instantly win one of 15,000 prizes!!
