Early this week, it felt like Friday would never get here! I’d been keeping quite busy this week but it’s all paying off! Today, I was able to kick back and relax. I watched Forest Gump this afternoon in it’s entirety for the first time. What a great movie!

I worked on a few more pages in my daughter’s birth to 12 months scrapbook. 🙂 I’ve having a lot of fun with that and at peace that my book can look good without breaking the bank. LOL

I also won a set of Brainy Baby dvd’s for my daughter from Amy over at Swag Studio! How awesome is that? I was just looking into buying these because we both have been enjoying the ones we’ve checked out at our local library! I’m so Blessed!

It’s currently 6:30pm and my daughter has been up since 5am without a nap. She’s surprisingly not very cranky but I am beginning to wonder when she’ll hit the sheets for the night.

My Baby’s Daddy- Father’s Day 2009

Father's Day 2009

Father's Day 2009

My husband celebrated his second Father’s Day this year! He’s been such a good Dad to Melody. He’s comforted her when she was sad, cleaned her when she was dirty, and had fun times playing games with her. There’s not much more that he can do with her yet.

As the years come, I look forward to seeing their relationship grow closer as he instills values and beliefs in his daughter that are God Breathed & Christ centered.

…and now a flash back of Melody and her Dad from last year.

My Dad – Father’s Day 2009

House of Blues 2005- Dad, Tara, Fawn, and I. ROCK ON!

Being a father is more than just giving a kid a surname, its raising the kind of people the world can benefit from.

My Dad is an incredible person. He works long  hard hours, but has always found the time to spend with his daughters on his days off whether we are out visiting new places or fishing as a family at  local lakes.  I have posted three pictures of several places we have visited as a family.

Dad has spoiled me as well as the rest of his daughters ( 5 in all!) He always made even the smallest events in our lives very special. Dad has always been there to give his advice in various situations in my life though at times I didnt’ take it. Dad has led a wonderful example as a father and has done a great job at raising the five of us.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there! I hope you know how big of an example you are in your children’s life and know how much they appreciate and look up at all that you do.

We are feeling much better. Whatever seemed to hit hard last Sunday evening is now gone.  It still perplexes me to as how we caught it in the first place and what exactly the illness was.  Still a little tired but once we start eating better again and getting out to exercise, I’m sure we’ll be doing alot better.

Speaking of exercise, I haven’t done my wiifit all last week and other than being sick, our wii mote charger died and we have to buy a new one before we can use it again. So, I’m going to try to walk everyday next week instead.  We’ll probably even hit the park!

Congratulations to all the winners I just announced! I love all the products I received from those companies and promise, you won’t be disappointed with your winnings. 🙂

Daddy & Melody in the Hot tub

I did write a post yesterday on how I’ve been sick and trying to get better. It is no longer here because I had quite the scare. I tried to update my blog to WordPress version 2.8 and then I was having problems posting so long story short, my entire blog vanished. Yes, it was gone! Talk about traumatic! Must be kinks in the update…anyone else having problems?

I didnt’ freak out over the whole situation. Instead I went and talked with Blue Host customer support and they restored my whole site from a day ago. I was so relieved! Did I mention how much I love Blue Host? Well, I do, they have great customer support and supply all my web hosting needs.

Okay, I mentioned I’ve been sick. I have no diagnosis though I went to the Doctor.I seem to be getting better but am incredibly fatigued. The ulcers in my mouth have been making it hard to eat. Yes, Ulcers… ugh! I am a very clean person… and have no idea how I could’ve gotten on the wrong side of the fence healthwise. I love my husband so much and happened to share this with him too. He’s proof that woman have a higher pain tolerance lol. Yes, we’ve both been in a huge amount of pain. I hope this doesn’t last much longer.

I’ve been put in my place to slow down a bit with everything. So less requesting of PR, less book reviewing, and more time with my family and designing graphics is to come.

The pictures were taken a few days ago. Melody loves the hot tub. Don’t worry it wasn’t hot at all, I would’nt have let her get in if it was. She has warmer baths than the hot tub was.  Melody had a blast giggling and laughing and she kicked and splashed around.

Yes, we pamper our Daughter.
