A few weeks ago, my family and I visited the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival. It was celebrating its 22nd year this Autumn. We’ve visited every year for the last six! It’s always fun to see all the animals, crafts, and happy people when we go.
Melissa Leapman’s Indispensable Stitch Collection for Crocheters is a wonderful book for a crocheter of any skill level to add to their collection of resource books. This book isn’t some boring instructional book full of lackluster by any means. There are two-hundred stitch patterns worked up in a plethora of color shades found in the Cascade 220 wool yarn collection line. It’s a visual delight!
When the days are far too hot to spend time outdoors in the Summer sun and heat, it’s always nice to spend time indoors working with ones hands. Crafting preferences differ by individuals so there’s a huge array of kits and books to jump start one in a direction of interest. Today will be the first of many more craft kits and book post I’m happy to feature for children to adult. If you or someone you know is a fan of working with yarn and either knows or wants to learn to crochet, you’ll be happy to learn about the following Granny Squares Scarf Kit!
