13 Weeks Today
Melody turned 13 weeks old today! She’s been babbling a whole lot more. She had fun talking the whole time my husband and I were doing our daily devotional… LOL… I guess she just wanted to get her two cents worth in too. She’s a wee bit needy and thrown off scheadule again this week…this is tending to happen mostly when we spend more than 3-4 hours over at someone else’s place… I just thinkg she got overstimualted. Being tossed from person to person can do that huh? Well, I’m hoping she gets back into the swing of things because I do need more that 2-3 hours of sleep a day!
Smart Stages 3 in 1 Rocker Swing
Smart Stages 3 in 1 Rocker Swing
Okay why did I buy this? Well, at the time I was juggling trying to get things done and holding my daughter since she was pretty attached to me in the early months. She usually just falls asleep anytime I put her in this swing. That’s not necessarly a bad thing if you want to be able to get a few things done or just to help your child settle down. This is a great swing to get though because you can use it even when your child is older as it converts into a mini rocking chair! Sometimes I take the seat out of the swing and I move baby from room to room with me as I am cleaing or cooking and she is just thrilled to by at my side in it! I will admit we’ve used this a few times at night and she ended up sleeping till nearly morning! This is no means a substitute to her crib though… lol … I would say this toy isn’t quite as used as much now since she’s more thrilled with having tummy time and rolling over. I’ll let you be the judge of it huh?
Interlocking Floor Mat
Interlocking Floor Mat
I bought this mat a while back because I wanted a safe area for my daughter to play on. I live in an apartment and even though they change the carpet out here I still don’t want my daughter playing on it. This a great mat, it’s colorful, fun, and educational! You couldn’t ask for more. Even though my daughter doesn’t really understand the concept of letters yet ( 3 months old) she has fun looking at them when I pull on out of the tile and tell her words that start with that letter! So, not only is it a safe place to play, it’s also a fun learning tool!
I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for that sort of thing! In there near future I will probably order the numbers and shapes to go along with it.
