Babies First Shots
My little girl had her two month pediatrician visit yesterday. She’s weighing in at 9lbs 6 ounces, 23 inches, and 37 cm head size. She’ growing at her own little pace and seems perfectly healthy. She also had her
- DPaT (diphtheria, acellular pertussis, tetanus) shot
- Hib (Haemophilus influenza type B) shot
- hepatitis B shot
- polio shot
- pneumococcal (PCV7) shot.
We likely had to also have her blood drawn for her thyroid condition. The blood check is to monitor her condition and to see if her prescription needs altered. Poor little thing so sad and sore but she’s not to grumpy today.
Nearly 9 weeks!
My little girl is growing so fast! It seems like I only brought her home yesterday… which seems funny to say since she never really left… TeeHee!
Melody has been hitting all her marks. She’s been smiling and cooing. Her favorite toy to play with and smile at is her Safari Rainforest Bouncer. She enjoys staring at Baby Einstein and Winnie The Pooh as she swings in her FISHER PRICE Smart Stages 3-In-1 Rocker Swing ( which is also one of her favorite places to sleep). I have to keep an extra close eye on her when she scoots around because she sometimes ends rolling over. She loves to talk to me when she gets up in the morning
and she likes when i read to her no matter what I’m reading.
According to WiiFit she weighs 9.2lbs but we’ll see how accurate that is next week at her two month appointment.
